  4. Dog or bitch DS, its a mongrel!
  5. NO Dissention, Tomo! Dawn B has Spoken! Dont be so patronising, it doesnt suit! If you LOOK at the photo, the dog is half as high as the bench (where you would sit) he is standing by, thats HALF as high! Why is it some people HAVE to have some sort of handle on every dog? Why cant it be a mongrel? I had 2 of them, wonderful dogs, and that one in the pic looks like the next brown mongrel to me.
  6. Nice shots there, show offs arent they!
  7. Nothing like a Thai Ridgeback, half the size for a start! Its just a brown mongrel.
  8. Some really nice shots there. i partcularly like the last one, the depth of field is excellent. Dawn.
  9. Perhaps look at the Nikon D40 with a standard lens, for under £300. http://www.jessops.com/Store/s47076/0/Digi...alse&comp=n Or if you have a bit more cash, look at the Canon 400D with standard lens. http://www.jessops.com/Store/s35964/0/Digi...alse&comp=y Both are good beginner SLR with good write ups, best to go into somewhere like Jessops and handle one before you make a decision. Both cameras offer reasonable shutter speeds for action shots as well as preset modes.
  10. You did good, those are super!. 1. Tawney Owl. 2 and 9 is a Batleur Eagle (I think) 4 and 13 is a Common Buzzard. Last one is a Harris Hawk flying. 6 is a Snowy Owl and a human! 7 and 8 is a Great Horned Owl. 5 and 10, Peregrine Falcon? perhaps a hybrid, Im sure somebody will know.
