The deer fence's Zak used to jump were a little over 7' high, i've never had a dog that could jump like it. Unfortuneatly i had Zak PTS late last year he was 12 yrs old and worked til he was 9. All the best MATTI

A pup of 4 month old will bounce back from that don't worry, they are'nt properly developed at this age. As Doxhope said year's ago maybe it would'nt of got the chance, but medicine and knowledge has come on alot. I would say Tyson be patient and give it time and i hope it come's good for you. P.S. i think the Rug mans place is cursed for dogs.

Deerhound's are slow to mature, especially dogs. They are natural jumper's and with a little coaxing and encouragement he will be jumping everything in front of him. I had a DeerH X GreyH 1stX and he was 14 month's old and 32" to the shoulder before he was 100% confident at jumping, but from there on in he could clear deer fence's with ease.

Hi bud, was your dog 1 of 5 born on 16 feb 1998? If so you may have a litter sister to mine. Also, I may well have met you when you collected the pup. That's the very litter mate, unfortuneatly she dug herself on while were working a fox and she'd suffocated by the time i'd managed to break through she was 3yrs.

My Patt was perfect til he was 6yrs old then he took it on himself to drop a ewe, he'd never even looked at one before, so maybe they can be broken to stock but are never 100%. TICK TICK TICK -
Had a spoting lucas out of Raggengill Pippin x Raggehgill Teddy, very trainable on all quarry. Only trouble was the coat was a draw back in thick gorse and bush, but if she was kept clipped out she was a perfect worker and would work all day every day.

I don't even leave my dog's in the garden unattended, never mind a bonnie little lass, God bless her and save her. Whoever is responsible for the life of a child in these circumstances does'nt deserve a headstone never mind getting lifed off in a cushty jail with Plasma T.V.s, X-boxs, best of scran and Fooking Diploma's and Degree's when they get out, i'm sorry but this to me is not a sentence as an inconveniece.

I,m with Nelson, the birch would be better than him tossing it off on "community service" or "unpaid work" as it's now called, who police's the fact that he never own's another animal??? IMO he should'nt own teeth anymore.
