    I also agree , the big commercial shoots are not ethically justifiable. I don't think most people mind the smaller shoots shooting small bags but the large shoots shooting 500 birds + by a team of portly rich businessmen in their Range Rovers doesnt sit comfortably with mr average. Once grouse shooting has gone these shoots will be next ....

    After all the recent chat about the HMR I decided to air off mine last night and see if I could see any Cubs. On arrival I thought I had taken the wrong rifle as there was a cub out in a grass field which wouldn't call ? this was before dark. I waited til dark and set off again in pursuit of reynard , spotting one which again wouldn't call and disappeared. I then went back to the original field and there was 2 Cubs together , again no interest in the call. I sneaked up on them only for the vixen to start screaming them to come back , 1 did but the other was content feeding on something. I g

    Fiochi 32g 6s .... I have always used this load for all my shooting whether it be rabbits, squirrels, pigeon , crow , pheasant ,duck . I remember the good old days when I used to shoot a lot of rabbits with the shotty over my terriers using Baikal Record , christ they were hard hitting. Another good cartridge back then was Sellier and Bellot I'm sure you will remember them ?

    Funny enough my dad has severe rheumatoid arthritis and is in constant pain. I saw him the other day and he was wearing a copper bracelet with magnets in and he said he had noticed a change in the pain so must be something in it.

    They are in pockets , some places have none and others a few. The dog has just had the hearts, kidneys and livers for supper. We got a good price on the poults £3.30 ? Hopefully you get a decent price ?

    Checked poults this morning and everything ok ? Walking back to car 2 rabbits lifted and were duly bagged .

    Nice to meet up Stav. I thought we were going to draw a blank as the weather wasnt the best especially when it started raining but ever the optimist we sat it out and were rewarded with our prize. Stav pulled off a good shot as the buck was about to disappear and couldn't see most of its body as concealed by the crop. A solid strike in the shoulder followed by a 20 yard stumble and down he went. Now you just have to butcher it ??????
