  2. What's your opinions on cleaning cloths for binos and scopes when out in the field. I was stalking in the rain yesterday and struggled to keep the rain off my binos , I normally keep a small piece of cleaning patch in my pocket but it isnt great for cleaning the water off the lenses Keith
  3. The practicalities of storing more guns than space means you are more than likely going to knock the scope of rifles getting them in and out.
  4. Seeker is that cameraland ny, I recently dealt with them although too early to receive the good I was impressed
  5. thanks jamie i am torn between it and the foxpro spitfire, the foxpro looks more caller for hte money and has a very good name , the price is similar but i am put off by the foxpro size.

  10. Do you find green keepers want to leave the foxes, I find they do as much ground damage as rabbits and tend to foul and dig in bunkers, the greenskeepers think they will keep bunnies under control but not the case
  11. Good luck with venture, as ball park figure how much for a rifle

  15. just after new years i was out with my cz17, i had a lucky escape from what i deduce was the primer firing but not the load. the bullet was dislodged and stuck in the rifling. i had finished zeroing some other rifles and i still had ear defenders on at the time so i thought i had a total misfire. when i looked around for the ejected round i had only casing in the area and i thought it was lost in the long grass. i tried to chamber another round only to find the bolt wouldnt close and upon further inspection the barrel was blocked. i put it down to experience and didnt think much more about it
  16. Dave what's the program you are using. Thanks keith
  17. One tip is to rattle food in plastic bag, shake the bag so he associates rustling of the bag with getting feed , you can rustle bag at hole to draw him out. The rabbit at hole has also saved me a few digs, especially when the ferret has stuck with a kill underground.
  18. Wouldn't want to be relying on u or your dad to nail him at 0400 :-), hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ps the dogs are still alive last time I checked
  19. I will have a look for him but I will leave a few more rabbits out for a couple of days to see if he comes around a little earlier. He does look a good size as well. I shot a large dog fox 3 weeks ago at the same spot so they seem to be growing large here
  20. i had a couple of rabbits left over from a good days ferreting yesterday and since my freezer is on the blink i decided to bait an area beside a river behind my house. I attached the two rabbits through their hocks to a post with a snare and set up the trail camera to see what time the fox would appear. I shot one a few weeks ago in the same spot at 2130 so i was thinking a similar time would be nice. checked the bait this morning and the rabbits were gone , so i removed the camera and viewed the images. I have an early morning appointment with a certain fox.
  21. Are you shooting the rabbits from prone or unsupported standing .
  22. Try vmax ammo, Generally they will drop on the spot or very close to it
