  1. Sorry, I should have clarified. What do your eyes see? Yankee Boys' Gr Ch Mammy
  2. I'd imagine most if not all of that film was staged? Every camera shot is from a static position, they can't even pan the camera and I'd imagine it was more important for everyone to get in on the historic film than concern themselves on that day with spoiling scent? Enjoyable to watch and interesting to see the patterdale terrier one minute in.

Anti crap. If the Bulls show any defects the crowd is in uproar and the bull is replaced. The second aspect he's judged on is how hard it goes into the horse. These bulls aren't sensitive.
  4. tip was more like a white lakie mr didn't even breed him he come across him as his owner could not control him an he used to be kept in a coledunker on a chain until a German Shepard came walking into hiis garden an he killed him out right an that was the end of it for its owner mr got a call to go an pick him up an that's when his working career began atb More like a white Lakie in what way? What was he like to work?
  5. disagree peter tulip (jm) did a bit of research and there is quite a mix including dachshund in his mix. But the guys that got Tip knew everything that was in Peter Tulip article. They weren't looking for a KC or a Pure bred, they wanted a working dog to outcross to and produce from and that's exactly what they got. Their own stuff had english bull and staff blood but that didn't concern them either. They want and wanted working terriers, not breeds or purebreds. Tip was the stamp of a Sealyham type, but he wasn't sealyham breed KC or otherwise.
  6. 0% KC Sealyham 100% Sealyham type of old fashioned working terrier, hairy white, low slung, long backed and heavy boned, bred for purpose.

Reports saying the wing took his cape as the bull was in close, it saw him and threw him the ground and gored him through his right armpit through his chest lung and heart. "It's the last serious thing"
  8. That's the whole crack, if she wasn't live streaming I bet she'd be another dead black person. All she had to do was help her boyfriend or freak out and they'd have been covered by "she went for his gun"

Iv never seen morante on a good day. I don't have time to wait for some artist to decide he's going to make an effort. The first time I saw him he had to get the riot police into the ring to get him out safely, people were tearing the ring to pieces to throw at him...think that was algeciras. That sounds like something worth seeing!!! Roca Rey will carry the day.

Late september is nice there as it's not too hot for us northeners Both days has very, very good guys. Roca rey is the 19 year old trying to make a name for himself and Morante on a good day is super artistic. The second day Mazanares can do some amazing stuff and Lopez was one of best up and coming matadors last season. http://www.ticketstoros.com/

I've been at few in Seville. Stunning city and old town you can spend a few days walking around. It's held in the heart of the city and there's loads of great bars and restaurants around it. It's worth going a few hours early to see the crowds and enjoy a few beers and tapas. Escribano in Seville last season, the guy that was had his femoral artery torn 10 days ago.

One of my favourite clips of Jose Tomas, The guy into the way of the samurai, the guy that takes so many risks he can be hard to watch and why people paid €1,500 for €50 tickets to see him. This starts again with an untouched bull meeting a man with only a cape, no sword, no nothing , just skill and experience. It moves on to him working the bull with the smaller cape, keeping a massive bull as close as possible, getting between the bull and the cape to try and encourage it's stuttered charges. He makes a mistake it gores him through the stomach and he lies unconscious on the ground. T
  15. Yourself and Dillydog might be comfortable watching people getting bullied. It ain't for me. These guys know him, they don't need to be ruining threads or bullying on here.
  16. I haven't seen Pablo complaining about it? I just think it's way out of order.
  17. I think it's outrageous how this guy has been treated on threads here. I don't care how good or bad a guys dogs are or if he uses 1 or 20 to ground. He hasn't robbed anyone or robbed dogs. Mocking him and belittling someone for any issues they might have in their private lives is way over the line as far as I'm concerned. If someone has a problem with drink or drugs or gambling or whatever isn't than a struggle enough for them? Without publicly abusing them on here. Saying where he lives, what he drives and trying to out him with pictures while ironically calling him a snitch. What's h
  18. If you read the post Bryan I said most vets are in it for the coin not all You do get decent vets the same as anything some vets around me will give you a bottle of aludex of the shelf for 20 pounds while others won't give it to you without a consultation bringing the bill to near 40 to tell you what you already know for that vet to say put the dog to sleep over a prolapse as an option at all I just find ludicrous I read your post. I don't agree with your statement that most are in it for the coin. I'm saying they're all in it for the coin. But I'm okay with that.

They've made big changes with the horses, with the padding now used and kelvar I've never seen a horse injured. Picadors work with the same few horses throughout the season. If a horse was stressed it would sweat up badly especially in the heat and with padding, but they don't. Racing horses will sweat up onto a frothy lather, these guys don't at all. You'll see they're ears aren't back and when the bull makes contact the horses lean in on the bull, rather than back away or bolt away. Bullfighting isn't an comfortable watch, it definitely asks questions of you. One thing I love about t

Can anyone arrange to go out to certain ranches or did you need a contact? Is there any modern reading on the subject that you'd recommend? Into the Arena is an okay read, it's as much if not more about him than bullfighting but it's a start for a modern read. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Into-Arena-World-Spanish-Bullfight-ebook/dp/B005IYT9X2/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1467394303&sr=1-1&keywords=into+the+arena

Is that the 17 year old in the last photo that just got gored standing up ? If it is how ? It looks in the first photo as if it's horn has gone through his leg He's standing up because he's not an over paid football player . There's emergency surgeons on site, they've tied him up with a tourniquet, the black band on his leg and strapped him together as best they could. He couldn't walk when it came time for his second bull, the surgeon reported that he couldn't understand how he stood up at all. But it's Madrid and he's a apprentice looking to the future, he knows what's needed fr
