Because Ireland is nothing like the uk I think in some important ways you are wrong, especially when it comes to the representatives of hunting.

I don't think it's as dramatic as it sounds. the bill is being drafted to stop puppy farming and get some money, hunting was to be excluded but like everything else, the government is trying to get in more cash so has included hunting now. It's not going to ban hunting or impact on it, but it'll cost more.As it is if you licence a pack you are open to inspection of the kennels little is going to chnage. Mass rallies and Marches achieved nothing in the UK, so why are the Irish hunting groups insistent on making the very same mistakes???? Hunting with dogs was banned but terrier

the only standard is the standard of work, when the pup has passed that you should think about breeding or not. undescended testes is common in kids FFs and an easy surgical repair, that pup can be restored by any reasonable vet. probably best for you to go for furthest range which would be a B+F collar with a barryvox pulse up to 90meters or an Ortovox F1 up to and a fair bit cheaper. Bryan

a single antenna is fine but you have to be able to read "spikes" at a depth of say 4 feet an analogue box will give you FIVE points with the SAME strongest signal. not legal to hunt hares in Ireland with any dogs except registered packs of beagles or greyhounds within a coursing club and even then only under licence from the minister of the enviornment. So no need to talk about anything else. you used to hear a lot about matches in England but now it's banned.
