    slice the breasts off them and fry them up in a little oil, I like mine well done (prepares to be slated) can't stand the sight of blood on my plate, I serve mine warm with a mustard vinaigrette and tossed salad with plenty of peppery rocket

    just feed them the way you normally do mate, i don't believe any of this feed them the night before, feed them a little in the morning, special foods before you put them in the box, If a ferret comes into contact with a rabbit that wont budge it's going to kill it whether it has a full stomach or not. Remember ferrets have a very very short digestive tract and they will only eat a little bit at a time and when they want to, the food doesn't stay inside them very long before it is pooped out. just get out with them give them a few tit bits during the day (fresh rabbit livers) and don't forget a

    Can you still get buckfast up there? Used to drink it all the time when i was based as faslane, bloody lethal stuff, brought 2 bottles back for the wife once and she really enjoyed it. never seen her so pissed in all my life though hahaha

    Hi Guys, I have been bought a bottle of sloe gin for christmas, was just wondering what you drink it with? I drink quite a lot of normal gin (bombay sapphire) but drink that with lemonade or fresh orange juice. Any suggestion welcome, Cheers, JB

    I have insulated bottom and 2 sides of the nest box with polystyrene then the box is filled right up with straw which is changed every couple of days just incase it gets a bit damp, my ferrets let me know when they are too warm or too cold, funny as it might sound in the summer they drag bedding out of the box and in the winter if there isn't enough in the box they drag the hay from the top compartment down to the bottom, I seem to have the balance just right for them now as there's no home making going on lol

    just change them as often as you can mate, I have 2 water bottles and keep rotating them every few hours, when i'm at work my wife changes them for me, if that's not possible you could try a small heavy bowl of water and they will lick the ice to get some water.

    You should be having words with your mate then cos that's bordering on the grounds of animal cruelty, ferrets like to eat little and often due to their short digestive tract, so 2 days for a ferret might be the equivalent of us going without food for 4 days and I know that if I hadn't had anything to eat for that period of time I wouldn't be willing to work too hard. well said thanks

    You should be having words with your mate then cos that's bordering on the grounds of animal cruelty, ferrets like to eat little and often due to their short digestive tract, so 2 days for a ferret might be the equivalent of us going without food for 4 days and I know that if I hadn't had anything to eat for that period of time I wouldn't be willing to work too hard.

    Forget your delkims and the vibration nonsense, yes they are good alarms but the are like clitorises ever c**t has them, get a set of fox rx alarms, they have both roller and vibrate and wont go off in heavy rain and condensation like many peoples delkims do. been there and done it, fox rx alarms all the way....
