    Well shes just about 23 at min hoping to squeeze another half inch maybe an inch if im lucky. Her dam was 23tts and sire was 24 and half tts. Good luck with your pup pal

    No mate not necessarily. Although it helps some pups to watch an experienced dog I got my bitch out ferreting to get her used to mouthing and chasing. Cheers

    back out with rew to some alright spots. Didnt take dog along today as I had her out lamping friday night and ferreting yesterday so shes having a well earned rest plus shes still young. Ferrets worked well again my young kits are becoming grafters ( cheers to mattyg of here for the ferrets there coming on good). Tews jill worked superb and didn't leave a warren before all rabbits were out. Ended on 8 which brings out tally up to 45 in the last 4 outtings which is extremely good for us. Cheers

    Lol its a bonus when your passion pays your way on the odd accation thats all. The cousins not long bin driving and were not loaded with cash so its nice when we can catch enough to pay petrol and give the dog and ferret a rabbit. Cheers

    Not in it for the money pal as long as we get petrol money back were happy chaps, we keep a couple rabbits for ourselfs dogs and ferrets. Cheers

    Took the pup out with ferrets again today. It was a hard days ferreting as alot of warrens were still covered from nettle bracken etc we placed rews 50 yard lognet round as much of the warrens as possible and the rest of the warren left to us and the mutt. The odd purse net was layed to prevent hole hopping which proved affective. The pup done well and helped many rabbits on their way to longnet.Total tally of rabbits was 22, so on way home dropped them with our butcher. Cheers

    She missed a few on the night but unlucky not to of caught 6 or 7. Shes only young so gunna hold her back for a few week from lamping now shes full of confidence, gunna do abit more ferreting in the mean time. Atb

    Had a good night with the pup. Finally getting out to decent spots. She caught her first slip pretty much at my feet and she didnt hesitate to to strike well and keep a good hold. The second rabbit she caught a fair distance away at a hedge row and retrieved it well. 3rd rabbit was a straight line sprint between both coney and dog and the rabbit hit the cover woth lass following she ended up witj a bunch of nettles and the rabbits back leg in her mouth anf again held it firmly and change to a comfortable grib and retreived it to within a yard away from me, and the fourth was caught at my feet

    Some real nice dogs lads a credit to you all, Dark brindle dog is my old dog, he unfortunately broke his leg but still does abit of easy ferreting. Hes beddy whippet grey x collie grey. Red bitch is my future hopeful and showing good signs at 9 month. Shes collie whip grey x saluki grey. Cheers

    How old is your bitch s.e.s.k.u ? My lurcher bitch is 9 month, when do they have there first season and what sighns do lurchers give when comin into season. Its my first bitch so her coming into season is a new thing to me
