Well its alright sitting moaning about it but each and every one of you has bred a litter of pups and sold surplus on is directly responsible. They couldn't do this if they didn't have them in the first place. A bit of practise what you preach wouldn't go amiss. And do away with the dogs for sale section on here it is full of c**ts with tripehounds and only exacerbates the problem. FTB

All this talk of conformation and breed standards. You just admitted to breeding from substandard earthdogs that both didn't have the minerals or the statue to succeed at their job. Not once but multiple times. How does that make you any better than the showmen. Surely you should breed from the best and accept no substitute. FTB

Dog dealer. I have just bred a litter of russels. She had 3 dogs, 3 bitches. 2 dogs and a bitch died during birth. One bitch pup is going to a friend who put his dog over her and I am keeping the other 2. If she had anymore than 5 they would have been chapped as I had homes lined up for 5 between myself and close friends. I couldnt have enough trust in anyone to give out a pup I had bred, whether free of charge or not. People have shat in the nest too many times with me before. FTB

Thing is though, they have been bred shite to shite for so long that the vast majority dont have it in them. Rearing a pup to be an earthdog always involves an element of luck, but with plummers you would need to be a fekin leprechaun to have any reasonalbe level of sucsess. Just my opinion. Were plummers even created with the intention of being earthdogs? I was always under the impression they were an above ground vermin dog that a tiny minority have tried to work underground. Correct me if I am wrong. FTB

£0 in my opinion. If you breed with the intentions of making a profit or even covering your costs you are doing so for the wrong reason. You should accept that it will cost you money to raise a litter and take that on the chin. The terrier scene would be in a much much healthier state if everyone shared this view. FTB

How you gonna trial a fox dog in August? If he is realistic about selling tell him to keep it until a trial is humanly possible(i.e winter). And how has he all of a sudden become overdogged in the middle of the summer? Just a couple of questions, not trying to start an argument. FTB

Hardly touch the stuff during the winter when Im busy shooting or with the dogs. Then come summer Im gassed most friday/saturday nights. Could quite easily stop tomorow and never look back, but going out and getting pished also goes hand in hand with getting your hole. So needs must. FTB
