    zak i would say well done on the 1 mate its a foot in the door do everything right when the farmer gets to know you as him to put a good word in with next doors farm you have ot remember mate your a complete stranger asking to go shoot/ferret on his land most will say no but the 1s that say yes if you do it right will open other doors so well done buddy atb gary

    cheers for the comments lads stealthy ...... pup is 12 weeks mate and already showing sime great signs (apart from sleeping with the enemy) whin.... i love working big hobs mate not much mess's with them wor kid like to work jills mind i have to say the jills showed the lads how to do it yesterday .. and as wor kid says this was just out of 1 field ....cant wait for the next visit atb gary

    hey lads after a pretty unsuccessful night of shooting (that write up is in that section) we decided to work the ferrets and new pup (in training)we hit the ground at 06:45 2 men 6 ferrets and a border terrier pup on the night shoot we saw shit loads of bunnies so we were looking forward to a good day. the 1st set was a small 5 eye set we netted up put one of the gills down 2secs later 1 in the net followed by another then nothing so off to the 2nd set a little bigger about 10 holes new netted up put 2 jills down and the ground moved 10 rabbits later it when quiet but the ferrets refused

    hi lads me and markeman got this new permission the other week and last night we decided to give it ago so wor kid rang the farmer the day before then rang me to say ill pick you up at 01:30 which turned out to be 02:30 cos he forget to wake up anyhow off we set 2 blokes..6 ferrets 2 guns and a dog ... arrived on site about 3:30 and could'nt how light it was we were in the middle of no where the sky was clear moons shining down on us and not a breath of wind (apart from wor kid :sick: ) anyhow i put my wellies on which was a wise move WASNT IT wor kid lol and off we set to the fi

    id check kev mate with the land owner ....reason being if the farm next door has just released them they are probably been bred for a shoot on which people have to pay ...if the game keeper who released them catches you shooting them it might cause problems with the 2 neighbours and in turn cause problems for you on your permission so if i was you mate its probably best to check 1st atb gary

    :clapper: its all good banter mate thats what make our forces the best in the world i spent many a good year at earls court taken on the raf and navy and watched as the navy took most of us apart .... atb gary thats only cos the Navy have got loads of time to practice, whereas the army are busy doing other things :laugh: Darryl lol you must of been in a different army darryl lol atb gary

    nice shooting kev mate if you want to try a good pellet try the jsb exact. pellet on top of pellet 35mtrs wouldnt bother with prometheus pellets they arnt accurate over distance and not got much weight behind them ive not tried the dynamics but some one will have atb gary
