  1. Frank that review was written by a barf snob, i think it's not really that dried in particular she was prattling on about. Why is it people get all superior when they stop feeding dried food, i can only guess it is because they hate seeing people with perfectly healthy dogs who only need to scoop food from a bag. Saying that i think raw meat is better but everbody to there own.
  2. Can someone send valleylad a pair of there wifes used knickers, it's about time the young chap had a good snifter. Imagination can only get you so far
  3. Don't you find it gives them the shits swapping over each day Frank. I mix James Wellbeloved with raw mined tripe and chicken, i know some say it's not good to do but i really don't believe it. I give mine raw chicken wings from Tescos too on most days. Hippychick how do your dogs go on it taste wise, i see it is cheaper than James W so might change, just my collie grey is a bit fussy. 4. Your right mate, they will keep chipping away at us given the chance of another term. What worries me is Gordon Brown is getting more popular lately, can't people see he is part of the cause of the problem, having 12 years to regulate the banks. He is like the arsonist fireman, just putting out the fire he helped light.
  5. I have heard soaking in water helps remove the gamey twang that rabbit has, so it is just for flavour. Probably best to soak it after freezing then it will thaw out quicker in the salt water.
  6. I have looked locally for places to charge it and one place is able to charge a 12l bottle to 300 bar for 3 pounds, it's a big old lump though so maybe inclined to go for a 7l bottle like you jazz.
  7. I just wondered if anybody had seen any good deals on dive cylinders lately? I had a hw100 s given to me as a christmas present and i'm well pleased with it. Cheers Shepp
  8. I would'nt worry too much about feeding dry food, it's not as if the animal is going to run 50 rabbits in a night or course a hare.
  9. dont you think that theres enough shit dods in rescue homes at the moment, never mind dangerous ones. is ok to say lets breed this lets breed that all the time but a proper dog man has a responsibilty to the care and welfare of these dogs. we live in a throw away culture and dogs are treated like peices of shit now adays anyway just breeding and adding to the unwanted dog population would be somewhat irresponsible. Too right mate, the handfull of the most common crosses are all that is needed for a decent dog man the do all he needs to in the field.
  10. That was my conclusion too after reading books, articles in magazines, internet sites and talking to wolfhound owners. But we have been corrected on our logical conclusion by Countryboyo, apparently the wolfhound is a pure breed going back centuries and those who say otherwise are part of an English conspiracy against the Irish and their fine canine breed. When i get five minuites i must ask him the real truth about the moon landing, JFKs shooting, 9/11 and Princess Diannas death.
  11. It looks like quite a lot people keep them as a second dog, with a more robust lurcher for rough ground and the whippet for gentler terrain which requires pure speed.
  12. Love them, it will be my choice for my second running dog, have a collie grey and a beddy right now.
  13. I've traveled a fair bit and it looks to me that where people have to put there lives in the hands of there vehicles then they choose Land Cruisers. Such as outback Australia and the middle east.
  14. NOT TRUE really!! what is the truth then? the only bonus i can see with crossing a wolfy would be to produce a healthy wolfy looking dog!! one that would live longer with out having to be on pain killers. so then where did they come from? the big giant dude in Ireland? scotty Not true , One of the oldest breeds there is. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: well thats that sorted then!! shows a lot about you my friend. older than salukis and greys? scotty Never said older than salukis and greys My Frien
  15. NOT TRUE If you did a bit of research mate, you would find it to be very true.
  16. Small to medium, nice size for working. Small enough to be handy but big enough to not get knocked about.
  17. I'm a bit pissed off your bull cross owner baiting has'nt paid off
  18. Why so saught after, look pretty ordinary to me.
  19. Looking back at this thread, strange how things turn out. Looks like the scum bags deserved all the negative press they received, that sort of trash need steralizing.
  20. What sort of prick would give a dog a hair cut like that
  21. Hi I'm from near Heathrow but spend a lot of time in Guildford.
  22. Pit bulls were not banned because dog fighting is illegal. They were banned because of some high profile attacks they carried out on people.
  23. Very nice dogs mate, to me they look similar to 3/8 5/8
