  1. I buy a fair bit off here, goretex trousers i bought were like new. http://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk/ishop/1069/shopscr2.html
  2. I own a beddy and she is a good little bushing dog and great dog to have around, but i would think twice about having one crossed to a whippet. The beddy has a narrow front which i feel is not a good trait to put into a lurcher. The skin is good but on most the coat is not great but the my biggest reservation is that beddys can loose the ability to listen when on a scent and the last thing you need in a lurcher is a dog that won't come back very quickly when called. I know they are tough and have a brilliant nose but I wonder if this is enough to counter th loss of speed the whippet gives yo
  3. I would like to see them standing side on to check whether they have that awful short back that the KC wreck most terriers with.
  4. Here is mine I watched your programe on sunday and as i was expecting the show was bias and inaccurate. If you are going to make a programe about as you call wildlife crime, i think badger digging and hare coursing should not be put under the same banner. Another thing is you should make the veiwer fully aware that hunting with dogs if completely legal, with permission, for rabbits, rats and to a limited degree flushing foxes. I think you will be pleased to hear you are wrongly altering peoples perception of people like me who go out and control vermin such as rabbits which damage the cr
  5. I would go for a sooty sam lines out cross like this, got to be some good healthy pups with the benefit of distant genes mixing but with hopefully the sooty sam consistency of drive. Like the look of the mothers dam. Shepp
  6. Try worming the dog and then change its food give it tripe and some veg as it must be missing something in it food if that dont work put a muzzel on it untill it gets out of the habit best of luck but let us know how it gets on Would'nt want to be the one who has to dig the shit out of the muzzle
  7. Great little dogs beddys, real unique characters and under rated dogs. Will you be planning on keeping one.
  8. Do you think the light coloured one will be liver? Nice pups mate.
  9. I would imagine he would shoot just to piss off the pc brigade.
  10. Water bottle, knife, walking stick and a packet of sky hooks.
  11. I have given it the glue treatment but to be honest I think it will end up forked.
  12. My beddy split her ear a few days ago, had it bandaged. Now i want to give it some air but i don't want her to open it up by shaking her head. Is it advisable to glue it with superglue if so how do you go about it? Cheers Shepp
  13. Put me down as the north east contingent as i hate these sort of people , but the method of choice for me might be something more stealthy , Anyone know where i can get a flask of liquid nitrogen I was thinking of cutting off the clamps not removing the limbs of the clamper. Nice thought though
  14. Someone should start up a mobile petrol angle grinding business.
  15. I think charging the lad with manslaughter is about the best option really. Something needs to be done to get through to these chavs that they will be made responsible for any actions there dogs may carry out. As long as he gets banged up for a few years i'll be happy. Pitbulls or any other powerfull agressive breeds should not be kept around children!
  16. I doubt any of the dogs following you or your friends around then would be what we class today as dangerous breeds.
  17. A young lad lost his life through the irresponsible behaviour of his family.........................I hope they are reading this! rds Swampy crossning To bloody true, people need to realise there are consequences to there ignorance! Ratattack it's pointless comparing a small terrier to a bull breed or rottie, the damage that the latter can do to a person in a short amount of time bares no comparison. That's the reason why you nearly always find kids are killed by these breeds. Shepp
  18. I like something around the 21" to 22" and fast so i would go for a collie grey cross whippet.
  19. I agree with you mate, there is no other way round it from what i can see.
  20. I know what your saying.....but it IS the dogs fault....some dogs are capable of this kind of thing and some are not.....the ones that are.......are at fault regardless of the type of owner they have. Poor little child. The difference is you can't have a dog which is big and powerful enough to kill a child in seconds with the same attitude as a small terrier.
  21. I think we could be on the brink of some tough dog ownership legislation. Whether or not this shower will push it before the next election, i don't know.
  22. I get the feeling there may have been a bit of a drift towards collie lurchers in the last year.
