Farmboy, Them Swarovski Scopes and Zeiss scopes are top class scopes pal and used by the Germans all the time for big game, i.e deer and boar due to their brillian light retaining abilities and crystal clear optics. They are really expensive too and you wont get much change out of £600 for a bog standard one. As has already been said you will need to re set the parallex, depending on the objective lens pal, you may find it easy to do yourself. Si

Here is a diagram using my Pro Sport ballistic profile of where i was aiming on the reticule both with the wind coming right to left and left to right. The wind was around 5 metres per second so not that strong but strong enough to make a difference to my POI at 100 yards. As they say a picture paints a 1000 words Si

Hi Shay, Im over again for 4 weeks at the start of July while on a course in the UK, but i have the weekends free to shoot if i get a invite buddy I also am coming over with my Russian and best mate Sergej in August for a week shooting and digging with the terriers. He is a NOOB to hunting with a air rifle and as only done it once before with me and loved it. He also shot me by mistake in the top of my arm and the pellet is still at the base of my neck It was more a richochet that a direct shot though and was more my fault for trying to stand too close to the target and b

Most lads that come on this site and section less for the newer members and new to air rifle hunting would know most of this, but i just wanted to put the Myth to bed once and for all in field conditions for myself. Yes i should be able to leave camp mate but i will have no vehicle with me for the duration to run me around and get me places. My rifles (my girls) are also 3.5 hours away in Mansfield at my mums house mate. Si

Hi John, A good treat for a rats and squizzers in that matter is peanut butter with a few unsalted peanuts added. They really love it and a rat will even go into a squizzer trap to get at it. I’ve personally had this happen to me twice last year where a rat as been found in my squizzer trap after the peanut butter and nuts. You are allowed to shoot on your friends rented property as long as the pellet stays within his own boundary. Place a good back stop (normally wood as it absorbs the pellet well) and side stops around the bait to stop sideward ricochets and the pellet
