  1. Flipping eche lads i need to get my finger out i think. I only take: Rifle Ammo Knife GunTuff LRF Mobile on vibrate. Insurance and permission if not in a camp where i live. (Talking about last year there). The rest i wear I.E my camo and hat. The rabbits i hock and pile up high on a fence or tree and pick them up on the way home or if im driving around put them straight into the boot. Si
  2. Nice one Darryl mate. I must of missed this post. A cracking picture mate and well done with the win. Ill see you again in July buddy Si
  3. Hi Tony, Another good read pal I know what you mean about them Calodonian crap. I made the same mistake once and bought them in bulk. I ended up giving them to the local scout group to use at their open night. I love the FX 16 grains mate. They are first class pellets and seem to work well in all my rifles both PCPs and springers. I would be using them in my HW100KT if the chrono would of not showed me that Webley Accupells were more consistant in that barrel. The R10 and Pro sport love FX though and i wont chang them from that. Si
  4. Ok Chris that seems like a smart and mature way to do your business. Well done fellow Si
  5. Hi mate I have used a Webley Stingray version 2 mate and they are more than capable of taking any of the legal UK vermin. The .22 version that I used was straight out the box less for about 500 practice pellets and was taking rabbits for me at 40 metres (43.7 yards) all day long from a static position sat in the seated HFT position. If you were to get one tuned by Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports like Buster says then I would extend that range by another 5 to 10 metres easily. Si
  6. The new BSA VC has a good write up mate and some say its better than the Weihrauch. I am thinking of gertting one for my R10 but not sure as i dont want to make it any longer. Here is what one bloke wrote about it Re: BSA VC Silencer « Reply #2 on: September 05, 2009, 09:04:20 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have the vc silencer on my r-10 , its the nuts cos its soooooo quiet. The Weihrauch silencer is a very good silencer mate and if you think your rifle is still noisy maybe its something like the hammer or some
  7. Hi Bill, Yep im home for about 3 to 4 weeks then im off on exercise in Canada for 4 weeks ish. Si
  8. Well done mate A 40 yarder is a very good shot in anyones books mate. Have you mil dots on your scope or did you just guess the hold over by the rabbits ears? Congrats anyway Si

    Tape

I used to use one mate before i got my GunTuff. There is nothing wrong with using one at all for setting up a zero range and mil dot hold under / over calibration area. Spot on that buddy. Si
  10. Ive used WD40 for many years for cleaning and lubing my pellets. As long as you use it in moderation its a very good fine oil mate. Si
  11. Hi Shay, Yes Im home again now buddy so will be able to be on here some more again. Ill PM you and DavyT63 my German mobile number buddy just incase you want to text me about future things Si
  12. Thats a lovely read Bill Just another one of the many pleasures of static hunting and being at one with yourself and Mother Nature. I have had the same experience with badges and stoats Bill and its something you never forget. Take care and great shooting buddy. Si
  13. Great photos Shay, Its nice to see the Ultra and the MAP Pro doing their jobs together. You liking the new scope then pal? i Told you they were good. Si
  14. Looking nice Shay I know just how good them Ultras are mate from shooting Reggaemans and watching him shoot his on my old permission in Catterick. Got to be one of the best kept air rifle secrets them Ultras. Glad that you are getting on well with the Map Pro mate. You made any long shots with it yet pal? Si
  15. In my personal opinion mate there arent that many springers on the market apart from maybe 5 or 6 that will be better than a HW95K. The HW is a brilliant rifle pal and will do the bussiness every time if used correctly and matched with the best pellet for its barrel. A springer will never be anywhere near as quiet as a pcp but if used correctly will still produce the same results in terms of filling a game bag. Has as already been said a tune from a renouned gunsmith with improve the smoothness of the action and reduce recoil a bit. Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports is the Mas
  16. Hi Carl, Im sure that little dude will destroying coke cans at 10 metres before you realise it buddy. its just amazing how quickly they come on once they get the shooting bug. Regards Si
  17. Hi Tony, Thats another first class read pal. Regards Si

    Squizzers

Hi mate, If you get sat in range of the drey at first light camoed up you will bag loads of them as they are leaving for their breakfast. I have shot a quite a few this way. Another good time is around 1300 hrs when they seem to be on the ground looking for tit bits. Camo is the way ahead mate and a 16 grain FX. Good luck Si
  19. Great shooting pal and a nice write up. Im glad that you are liking the new calibre buddy. A lot of people are changing to the smaller calibre now days due to the flatter more forgiving trajectory it pocesses. I wish you all the best Si
  20. Good write up that gary mate Good photos too 5 ***** from me pal. Nice one on the 50 metre shot too mate. I think that we should make a new DVD together mate. Si
  21. The Air Arms pro Sport is quite quiet for a springer and didnt scare the vermin i shot with it at all. A tuned HW97 or HW95 is very smooth and quiet too for a springer. Si
  22. Great set of pictures there lads Well done to Gary for coming 3rd place overall in the HFT. Any chance of saying who is in the photos daryl as i only reconise you, Gary, Davy without the dress this time . The others i dont know. Hopefully i wil be able to make it to one of these meets soon.
