    I'm not convinced it'll happen, but if it does then I think Mayweather will win. I'd love to see Manny smash Mayweather to bits but Mayweather is just too good and I can't see him losing. Mayweather might even stop him late.

    Same here mate its no biggie its not going to effect my life.......just as with anything we all want to reach the truth of a subject of interest.....i guess sometimes thats just not possible and we have to go with instinct,i know what i think and respectfully you have your thoughts. So we know for fact Hopkins priced himself out of the fight.......but we also know for fact Calzaghe refused to go to America for the fight saying he wanted it in Wales............ I accept at that time Lacey was highly thought of......what im saying is for people to still use that fight as an example of Calzaghe

    Yeah that's you opinion, and you're entitled to it mate I just don't agree with it James Toney and Jones Jnr both would of beat him IMO. Apart from them two though, at Super Middleweight I'd favour Calzaghe against most others. There's a few fighters that are about now who could become something special too. Bute and Ward, I'll be keeping an eye on both or those as their careers progress.

    No problems mate , It doesn't really make a difference to me what anyone believes on the subject (not that I don't value other peoples opinions or anything), I'm just voicing my thoughts on the subject seeing as it sprung up. Whether anyone agrees with me or not, Calzaghe ducking or being ducked by anyone isn't really something that I'm really that bothered about if I'm honest mate.     I remember reading about their dealings and I remember Warren saying in an interview on TV, of what he offered Hopkins and how Hopkins priced himself out of the fight after initially agreeing to a price, then fought Hakkar for peanuts. What is Calzaghe meant to do in that situation mate? Is he meant to risk his title as the champ over in Hopkins backyard and accept a shafting for it?     Of course mate, I'm glad to hear he's still confident in his abilities. It isn't the end of the world, and it wasn't the sort of loss that should have an effect on his future. I had Ward winning 115-113. Ward just had that bit extra in tactics and technique on the night, which Carl pretty much admitted too at the end of the bout. More than anything else I respect Froch for his will to fight. He's got that anyone, anywhere, any time mentality.     That'd be nice, and there is other very interesting bouts at Light Heavy that Froch could indulge in that would be great for us boxing fans, but in saying that Super Middle has got Bute, a rematch with Kessler and maybe even Ward if it could be made. He's got plenty of options Froch has, but what ever he chooses to do, I'll be cheering him on . Best of luck to him .

    I remember all that bickering between Hopkins and Calzaghe quite clearly but not as you have stated there mate. I remember Warren putting a £million on the table for Hopkins to come over here and challenge Calzaghe for his world title. Hopkins agreed on everything before signing the contract, when it come to signing on the dotted line Hopkins demanded twice the money. Warren wanted to know what had changed? Hopkins didn't give any explanation and backed out of the fight. Instead Hopkins defended his title(s) against the formidable Morrade Hakkar for a fraction of the price that Warren put
