  1. I'm sure the dogs wont be moaning about their new set up. They're fine them are mate .
  2. Sorry to hear of your loss mate. R.I.P. Willow.
  3. I'm not convinced it'll happen, but if it does then I think Mayweather will win. I'd love to see Manny smash Mayweather to bits but Mayweather is just too good and I can't see him losing. Mayweather might even stop him late.
  4. Same here mate its no biggie its not going to effect my life.......just as with anything we all want to reach the truth of a subject of interest.....i guess sometimes thats just not possible and we have to go with instinct,i know what i think and respectfully you have your thoughts. So we know for fact Hopkins priced himself out of the fight.......but we also know for fact Calzaghe refused to go to America for the fight saying he wanted it in Wales............ I accept at that time Lacey was highly thought of......what im saying is for people to still use that fight as an example of Calzaghe
  5. Yeah that's you opinion, and you're entitled to it mate I just don't agree with it James Toney and Jones Jnr both would of beat him IMO. Apart from them two though, at Super Middleweight I'd favour Calzaghe against most others. There's a few fighters that are about now who could become something special too. Bute and Ward, I'll be keeping an eye on both or those as their careers progress.
  6. No problems mate , It doesn't really make a difference to me what anyone believes on the subject (not that I don't value other peoples opinions or anything), I'm just voicing my thoughts on the subject seeing as it sprung up. Whether anyone agrees with me or not, Calzaghe ducking or being ducked by anyone isn't really something that I'm really that bothered about if I'm honest mate. Which is all the more reason why I wouldn't lie or try and sugar coat what I know to be the facts mate. As far as I'm concerned it is what it is! Hopkins turned down the fight some years back by pricing himsel
  7. You cant be serious............any era ????? Sugar Ray Robinson,Harry Grebb,Carlos Monzon,Stanley Ketchell,Jake La Motta,Marvin Hagler,Ray Leonard........................... Ok Calzaghe wasnt a middleweight but you didnt know that....sometimes you just gotta keep it real and not get swept along with romantic sayings. No Romance , at his BEST he would of beat anyone in the World imo At his weight. The bloke was fooking awsome, he was far too fast ,Big Heart, his work rate was phenominal. In any era . Just look at how many punches he threw per round. Round after round. He was perfe
  8. How can those sorts of numbers be true in one day? There's enough to last a million lifetimes there . Dont talk shite, whin can do that in a morning and still be home for loose women. lol FTB
  9. How can those sorts of numbers be true in one day? There's enough to last a million lifetimes there .
  10. Blimey! lets not get carried away here mate and he was a Super Middle not a Middle. He was our most successful boxer in some peoples eyes, but our best ever?.. Nah.
  11. I remember reading about their dealings and I remember Warren saying in an interview on TV, of what he offered Hopkins and how Hopkins priced himself out of the fight after initially agreeing to a price, then fought Hakkar for peanuts. What is Calzaghe meant to do in that situation mate? Is he meant to risk his title as the champ over in Hopkins backyard and accept a shafting for it? Nah mate, from what I remember Calzaghe never ducked him, it was Hopkins that chose to fight easier bouts in America, Hakkar, Joppy, and a blown up Oscar DelaHoya!!! What was that all about? ODLH lol. I di
  12. That's a cracking fox Alli, well done that little Russell. All the best for the season pal .
  13. Of course mate, I'm glad to hear he's still confident in his abilities. It isn't the end of the world, and it wasn't the sort of loss that should have an effect on his future. I had Ward winning 115-113. Ward just had that bit extra in tactics and technique on the night, which Carl pretty much admitted too at the end of the bout. More than anything else I respect Froch for his will to fight. He's got that anyone, anywhere, any time mentality. If you look back over his last 7 fights, they were all top class real tough fights for him, and only 2 of them have been at home. I think when al
  14. That'd be nice, and there is other very interesting bouts at Light Heavy that Froch could indulge in that would be great for us boxing fans, but in saying that Super Middle has got Bute, a rematch with Kessler and maybe even Ward if it could be made. He's got plenty of options Froch has, but what ever he chooses to do, I'll be cheering him on . Best of luck to him .
  15. I remember all that bickering between Hopkins and Calzaghe quite clearly but not as you have stated there mate. I remember Warren putting a £million on the table for Hopkins to come over here and challenge Calzaghe for his world title. Hopkins agreed on everything before signing the contract, when it come to signing on the dotted line Hopkins demanded twice the money. Warren wanted to know what had changed? Hopkins didn't give any explanation and backed out of the fight. Instead Hopkins defended his title(s) against the formidable Morrade Hakkar for a fraction of the price that Warren put
  16. I've had the same with a pup in the past. I know you can't help but worry but he was fine a day or two later. Try him on a bit of boiled rice and either scrambled egg or a bit of cooked chicken (Don't give him any cooked bones). Best of luck with the pup .
  17. It's where the money is mate. You've got to think about the the TV audience as well, which is a bigger prime time audience in the USA than over here.
  18. Hero Quest and Space Crusade (board games) . Amstrad CPC 464. (Harrier Attack! lol) NES then later the SNES! much better than the Master system and the Mega Drive IMO.
  19. He was holding everyone up, he deserved slinging off the train.
