Went out for a few hours Friday mornig took the two kits and the dog,got there for eight thirty and walked half a mile to the bury.started netting up with definite marks off the dog.Set about five nets then heard a buzzing then two,three....there was only a wasps nest! so packed up and moved down the hedge and did two more burys with no one at home roll on the frosts.still enjoyed myself and saw some wild life so until next time Seany

Hi guys ,Did a golf course today with my mate(his pals the green keeper) tried three burys but no body was home The ferrets seemed to be running through all the pipes from one hole to another so just bad luck i suppose. but isnt it funny they really looked as if they were active holes tomorows another day though going back on my own permission where i can take the dog to mark the holes ATB Seany

Hi,right click on picture file and select OPEN WITH PAINT then go to top bar in paint and select image SCREW AND STRECH reduce it from 100% to 30% then file and save.Hope that helps Seany

Good day to you all,can any body recommend any good terrier books for a good read for someone with a general interest in terrier work,maybe with all the techniques used and different quarry species plus working terrier breeds/crosses historically and present day and terminology of the sport. Ah bill hook they look just the job Me too, I clear holes, partner follows laying purse nets down full hedge. Go for a drink a fag and a chat back at vehicle. Go back to first warren done with ferrets quietly. This way this gives chance for bunnies to calm down. Beauty about this is if any slip the nets then theres a good chance of backnetting. I have seen us take a full morning to prepare setting 100+ nets before getting out the ferrets. Cant chance putting in all the effort a week before for poachers to do it after all the hard work done clearing out. Dillan The chap who comes

well i think you must have good reason to have one! So i would say you'ed be ok but keep it in your bag when walking anywhere near people! and only take it out when you need it!!!!! most of my burys are in hedge bottoms so i thought i could wack the odd stray branch out of the way,plus scare off trespassing dog walkers(joke!)

I dont know about the others but when you start if your going to go wrong its either on the top ring(forgeting to do one front knot one back)or in the first three meshes where it a bit cramped.It took me about five attempts but didnt use that much twine.Also i use a sharpened pencil to pick the knots.

Keep at it Mat,im new to making nets myself.I got my gear from jbs Nets £23.00 inc postage and you get about 15 nets worth of twine,needle,draw cord,rings plus a DVD,the only thing is the chap on the video is left handed so its a little confusing,but the big fishes video link is much easier to follow. Dont give up it took me about a week to master it and i still muck up Good luck Seany P.s Put a plaster on ye little finger

Seanys first outing out to give the kits a run and we bagged a nice young buck! Plus didnt have a baby siter so my daughter came along to.
