Mapping Pellet Trajectory
ghillies replied to milegajo's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
ahhh hear goes.. the scope needs to be centered, count the clicks all the way in (not to stupid though as it gets stiff stop..or break it.) wind all the way out counting every click, do it right first time or suffer.. half the clicks, thats how many to wind in to the mid way, then same on tuther turret. heres the fun bit, some scope havea little uirk, they need to be dun so that 5 clicks on one turret the 5 clicks on the other and endlessly walk the ret glass to center, if not, you'll find theres a little wander every so many shots because the slide has binsed up.. 10 shots bang on -

ok..if you want the real macoy, you'll need some bench type apparatis, and set up 5 yard markers with a tape measure, shoot three in the same hole at each target from a aim point line, i.e. same line on every paper, same height on every target, preferable all at a horizontal same leval..brick line will help. then get a gragh, mark out distance and height..plot away. dont change the mag though..or twidle turrets . reasons for this way are, scope angle gun barrel gun difrences... holding away from statick changes everything, especialy on a springer. if your young and fit i'd say do A -

that may well help, but if it was running and isnt now.. bar something like a blue screen every time indicating one stick has died...

no not the hard drive space then, did the defrag help any? if it was even a little bit it may well worth trying it again. after that? i cant say tbh, bar a reformat. edit..ctrl alt delete all three together), then start task manager, and have a look how many processes are running, if theres like a shed load 50-60 plus then theres posably too much running from on your start up..alas i dont know the ones you need to keep and which you can take off the start up, things that literaly say avg or what ever with a definate name to relate too you can chose weather to or not, but the exsplorer

no problem.. ir can be as simple as putting an IR PASS filter on, 850nm.. it wont matter that much with camera stuff but going below with NV intencifier stuff can harm the unit, the closer it gets to 'daylight' the closer it is to a burn out light sourse. (two filters if needs be at 10 million lol...) something to be aware of.. some materials are invisable under IR, i've heard of things like people tripping over a canoe they couldnt see.. and coke a cola goes see through, just our of intrest like.. i've had no problems so far.

eather get a cam set up or go gen 2 for that cash outlay hi power gun lamp? theres 1600lum cree about at resaonable 20 quid marks ish.. or simply get a huge 10million canle power torch or bigger and lug the batteries about or go for li-po packs and a proper balance charger, google a bit on the lipo's theyre fast to charge and can realease silly hi amperes if you need them to, but weight begger all, especially compaired to lead acids. for the gen 2 if you go that way there are the odd s/h units about, and the odd shop that will put new tubes in them for a reasonable amount, sort of belo

i got the EFFIO 600 tv lines one, and a 580 tv lined one too, the 600 is better in that the image in colour doesnt pixalate in blotch's just as its about to change to BW. end of the day i dont think yu cant grumble if its under 100 quid.. my screen was 13 quid. i'm still on a 5-55 auto iris, its a plastic body but does ok. (just got to box n mount it all now lol). i've always said ''can you see in the dark? you can with one of these''... after thought, i even tried a 480 tv lined 6 quider cmos..it works with ir but the image is a bit ermmm not asgood as the other two, it would -

lol chill... true night vision doesnt need IR what ever its shape or whereever it gets stuck lol (it amplifies photons in a cascade effect...) very few camera come close to a gen 2 or 3... and that PVS aside lol. in short..average camera needs a light sourse yeh? without it the screen black. no more no less. -

not forgetting and i qwote from acouple sourses ''well, people exspect the NV stuff to be big and heavey'' my reply was thanks for desiding that without asking me lol..1kg on average at the time.. or 1 thou on the tag. added on..stricly speeking it isnt 'night vision' in the sence that it needs a light to see..in this case infra red instead of cree or similar. Don't know what your trying to say here ? Wanna give me a clue brains ? a image intensifier picks up on the photons 'of light' and amplifies them in a cascade inside the tube, as in one foton hits another and mak -

Umm in that case then its only high quality gen 1 and mil spec gen 3 and above that are real night vision Ghillies ? Yukon and many others may disagree about that. The camera on the NS200 will see just like a gen 1 -
