  1. sounds like a case for chairgun.. http://www.hawkeopti...airgun-pro.html (if you want to know dowload it..take your time let it sink in). the barrel of your gun points slightly up wards so shoots in an up ward direction to meet with the height of your cross hair and then it falls because of gravity. on its way from the barrel it goes upwards (so lands under the cross hair at that distance,as in less than the peverbial 12) to about 12 yards where your cross hairs are on, it the then rises about a mill dot above the cross hair (so at that distance more than the 12 the pellet lands abo
  2. check out any london park, they were warned years ago, but now they dominate those landscapes, they move like a perigrin folcon, and then just disapeer after a thin bumerangle wing flick.. dammed noisey too. parakeets, ahhh dont they look pritty..ffffff
  3. hehehe 1.77 does what? simple test, peice of roof lathing left out side for weeks, shoot a .177 in it..if not all the way through, shoot a .22 next to it, pelet depth.. but the wood cracks, on a skull its bludgion with a 22 verse clean through with a .177 at sub 12fp's that is.. truth is it dont matter which if your hittingyour killing it clean, as stated above its acuracy over marginal bigger noises. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/258022-which-calibre-do-you-use-for-hunting/

  10. a couple year back the 'going rate' that the sellers/consumerisum were using was hobby = 1000 a year at least. thats how they were charging you in the figures and projections. archery worked out cheeper by only by a couple hundred quid and that wasnt going to the hgher cost equipment..and making your own arrows up. 1k to 1.5k for a start off pcp kit and extra's..(new) 10 quid a box of pellets 20 quid fuel to get to my shoot food water etc.. the end game was 1.77 worked out noticeably cheaper shot to shot than .22. enough to sway what calibre i'd use.. both calibe
  11. i aint putting mine up after seeing them others lol...its quite functional though. its in mid deco at the mo, has the rustic camo black/silver effect on the buddy bottle, and a bigous white center visual point on the thumb rest where some body opened up the adjuster.. meanwhile the stock fish is actualy awaiting the final coat and some kind of finish. 17 shots iz sooo nice on a chaise, but a pain to fill in a hurray lol...wouldnd be without one though.
  12. oh my gawd, that brings back memeries of free holding, a pair of plyers and sweat it out lmao! i will drop a hint here for HW80's, if you make a jig make sure its secure enough so's not to allow it to move in the the jig in any way..or it hits you right on the forehead lol....
  13. you wont regret a multishot mag...if you do go the pcp road dont forget subcontously you'll be self adjusting for the kick of a springer on a gun that has no kick...a little heads up there.
  14. hmm a little mind game to play.. if you can hold it still at ten yard...look at 60 yards, should be still there too really. (yes the distance and or higher mag shows the wobble more, but that means you were wobbling at ten yards..) but yes as simple as it sounds standing 'still' isnt as easy in practic is it lol.. si..couldnt agree more..the maths is right, and thers a reason why it the results vary, which brings back to illiminating a few little anoyences for the 'ideal' like good barrel, shot consistancy, weighing pellets etc etc... but practice being hi on the list. little e
  15. hense 'its your art' you do what you do.... edit..dunt matter what way you go with it, well..within reason, but has any one nostised the oone fundimental in all the way? time and effert put in = results.
  16. ehhh bite the bullet, get a S200...cheap as a springer and a one holer, but nice n light.(or get a wiehrach...). to add to the torment.. HW's are two stage triggers..very nice for the price when theyre set up, even better if you know a man who can fettle one. s200 is a 1 stage..nice for a 1 stage.
  17. i like your wording pianoman..its precisly that, 'an art'. how you go about it is 'your art'... i learned by shoot that there, i had a shit hot memery back there...i remembered every shot and learned, today? ffff chairguns wicked lolol..but the seat of yu pants has an definate advantage..why not put the two together? hmmmm tecno foabia! lmao.. cant that its maths lol.. yes yu bloody can, the second the shop short changes yu carol vauderman is a queen and your way up there with her lol.
