Any Help, Links Or Advice ,please!!!!!!!!!
ghillies replied to The Marsh's topic in Night Vision & Thermal
what bits do you want to know? it does seem a shed load of tecno when you see umoty seven bits and a few more links and stuff but its basic if you take it one bit at a time. i like my stuff in a box, like batteries and in my pocket to keep the batteries warm in winter and to save weight on the gun. there power supply circuit board on ebay etc, but you need to know how to use one to set the supplies up, failing that go for the 12v in a box or the blue shrink rap zini uses off ebay. hardest part of all of it is getting stuff to fit, or fit in straight. nipping of to nightsit -
the dot spacing differing a bit from scope to scope..tells you on the paper when you buy it @ what mag it's spacing is. then you set the mag in chairgun then put in your ret dot spacing. the 'anomolies' are pellet weight, they vary a little bit tin to tin. (scales wanted for the best figures) every scope has glass in it..they all vary a tiney amount, as does the numbers on the mag. the BC.. you can a fairly good BC fugure by doing the measured zero thing, then double the distance to the test target or at least 50 yard it. pop them numbers in and it gives you a bc.(put the cross h

why no..how could eat them when i hit every single one...

late but here goes.. tester to see if your ready. you need a 40 yard stretch, and a packet of extra strong mints, walk up the mini range placing mints on anything that takes your fancy, random like. now walk back to the bigging, no more than two shot at 1 target.. pick one near one midway ish one further out.. then walk on up and randomly wack the mint that takes your fancy.. if you hit 20 percent..yu need distance practicing..40 percent same again.. percent..nearly there.

Learning Holdovers?
ghillies replied to davethedood's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
damn 177 for paper, knew i was doing it rong lolol Craig, donkies years ago 177 were 'tuned' to 9.5 fp's for targetting,.22's were 10.5fp's for hunting.... some how the shop keeper has managed to evade about 50 years of progresion lol. its the same size spring these days and all 'get yu port hole sorted' lol besides it isnt the caliber guys! its the weight of the airgun mag advert that gets the extra power and accuracy, i though you all knew that? -
hmmm pick a boo with an imtencifier is doooomed i tell yu dooooomed... sooner or later the two go on together and bye bye gen 1. camera gear for that, but tbh, may as well get an IR filter over the lamps and use a day scope attachment. or just lamp it, if thetre running from the lamp do you think you'll be quick enought to lamp veiw sight lol digi night vision is the google search. or home made night vision..

sit thereany where with the gun..fidget about untill it gets cumfy, beyond that avoid hard on hard bone.. i worded that very carefully lol. elbow bone on knee bone will be a pain in the accuraccy lol. eather rest the elbows nearer to you than the knee's, or settle in the crook of your arm accross your chest,,or over the knees, the crook of your elbow being soft tissue/musstle not bone.

Learning Holdovers?
ghillies replied to davethedood's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
5 yard interveils from 0-55 yards, may as well learn um all instead of finding out later you cant hit jack shit at 5 yards lol!! the caliber thing..learn the 177 first...then put it away and learn the .22 (presuming you have 2 guns already). then change your kighting condisions, e.g. feild wood..half both..night or day. point A either cal will do eather job..if you can hit it! makes diddly squot. now then, 'learning a .22 or .177' tragectory? yu cant with out the gun scope set up, because even amoungst the same caliber there a difference between makes, pellets weights, scope hei -
your scope is too hi... dowload chairgun and have a look. higher and lower the scope height and watch what happens to the tragectory. if your trying to zero at 12 yard...fffffff it takes umpty sevenclicks to move an inch verses a few at 30 yards. it's an angle, gets bigger the further, or in moving the poi turms it moves less closer..so much so you could actualy colapse the return spring inside the tube squoshing wayyy over to its exstreme.

Paralax Adjustment Or Ao When To Use It ?
ghillies replied to Craig Fosse's topic in General Airgun Discussion
long story short.. literally no AO at all teach's you to put the head exsactly up tothe scope every time. 'fixed' PA is usualy fixed at 100 yardsany way so isnt actualy getting any use this side of 60 yards.. adjustable AO..yeh it has a use but probably better set at 25-35 so the blurr starts at your near poi on the cross hair so at your furthest 50-55 is still in focus, so you'll end up with two white liquid paper marks on your bell end.. scope! lol, one for near and one for 'far'..higher the mag the less in focus basically, but on mine 9x mag is plenty for the two mark system. 4x -
i couldnt watch it all..basically it's a debate of facts n figures, one which no point is properly addressed in any way, one wants it one doesnt.. sat up the corner in every playground in the world are two kids..they long lost the jist and theyre at the point where one screems at the top of the voise i put my fingers in my ears and shout ''ICANT HERE YOU LAHALAHLAHHHLAHHHHHH!'' hahah...then one day they grow up, and yu know what? all winners go 'i put my fingers in my ears....in a very grown up responcable way..yawn. end of they day the size of amarica and the state of n
