thats what I was going to say . I would also condition him at a higher weight depending on what his original weight was when he came out of the aviary. they can't resist a Rabbit Bolted! I'm not talking about a Rabbit layed out in the field but if you stand over a Ferreted Hole to make it a bit easier for him he should make a kill which will build up his confidence.... He sounds small to me or Low in weight? mine come out around 1lb 12 to 1lb 13 from this pair at 15 weeks, I would certainly expect them to bowl over Bunnies around the 1lb 8 mark and higher when in condition....... atb

Hello Ian They're outstanding Dutch hoods mate ! If you can PM me his number of your mate or ask him I'll give him a shout for one, the Black/Blue one in the pic is a cracker .... I've known steve Halsall for a number of years and forgot about him. I used to talk a fair bit with him on the phone since I was first intoduced to him by Bob Haddon but not for a long while now, he's definitley a guy I should have been ringing... Many Thanks Jasper

Hello Ian Let me know if you get one mate as I'm interested too . I don't like the Ron Rollins and Doug Pineo blocked hoods and much prefer the older designs... I'm lost too trying to find a Hood maker these days not useing the above designs! (I'm after a size 108) if you or anyone can blast up some numbers or websites? there used to be a Hood maker who unfortunatley packed up a good few years back by the name Andy Holidge I rated his hoods above anything else I have had. I'm also a bit of a tight arse these days and won't pay the £50 - price tag on some of the websites ATB

    Scales ?

Yep same here mate . I have had a old pair that was probably my Grannies Grannies and converted them and did the odd Update recently. they're perfect for me and weigh within a 1/4 of a Oz which is plenty good enough for my needs, All this weighing in Grams is far too much for me  Jasper
  12. Cracking pic Doxhope ! Looks like a straight Lanner..... Jasper
  13. She's looking keen ! she still has a few tail feathers to moult out by the looks of things mate so I wouldn't drop her in condition for a while yet until she's finished , its very tempting I can imagine but try to be Patient as it will pay in the long run... The Gos from last year has moulted out lovelly and clean. I needed to pull her the other day after the f*****g neighbour spooked them all climbing up his apple trees collecting apples and unfortunatley she broke a deck feather , I pulled her and did a bit of imping on the one feather and stuck some new anklets and tail bell on her! an

    Caravans

I have one up the top of the driveway Ian! its handy for when any lads come down for a bit of shooting or whatever plus a few tins and Gay bash and chase round the woods afterwards, its funny but Millet always seems the easiest to catch .... Jasper

  24. Happy Birthday Kay . now you're 50 you qualify for discount Saga Insurance on the Motor ... "Her Majesty isn't sending you a telegram this year! but she's happy to know you're halfway there...." Jasper
  25. Yep I totaly agree! the lad has been disrespectful in a big way to the club that made him what he is now. It seems Ferguson bent his arm to stay one more season so he could equal the record of english titles held by a Liverpool manager and then I reckon he'll retire, you can pretty much put your houe on Ronaldo will be off next season....
