    :wankerzo4: ...... that fella dont no his head from his toes! some lads don't want a terrier as some tend to get to ground an get stuck.thats why some lads use terrier x beagle or cocker or full breed springer or cocker horse's for courses everyone has there own view on it. as for springer x tend to hunt birds more bollox imo. we run a pack of 9 springer x beagles that we use for fox they have no intrest in hunting game birds., y.i.s, sionnach

    all i can say is each to there own, some like show ponies an some lads like to just get on with working there dogs no hype or bullshit need. to call a man legendry is going a bit far imho he might be legendry in his own small circle but not around digging men down this way. there are men in the game alot longer then seamus that don't want there name in lights. good luck with the fair, y.i.s sionnach

    well lads, i've used the deben long range for most of last season no problem at all with it only fault i could find is it some times read 5ft where it was actually closer to 3 ft. but was spot on over dog each time. took a while to get used to it but once i got the hang no problem, y.i.s, sionnach

    that cross will be ideal for bushing rabbits provided its breed off two workers. not always going to mean they'll work but could help if they where worker to worker, y.i.s, sionnach

    no i would not trust him one bit but what else can we do? i've written to an meet all local politicans an they'll tell you what you want to hear. i've already brought this up with rise tinytiger about the terrier an lurcher lads. the first letter that gormley gave stated that only hunts affilated to the h.a.i would have an exemption. i asked h.a.i at a meeting would they be prepared to register all hunting lads with terriers an lurchers but the silence was deafing. y.i.s, sionnach

    well lads the protest has been canclled as brian cowen has agreed to go into talks with rise on hunting dogs been excempt from bill via an admendment once bill is passed, hopefully he'll stick to his word this time.the bill we need to watch for is the animal rights bill the greens are trying to bring in end of year, y.i.s, sionnach

    Hi Gem, Can you put a few photos of your collies? I have seen the wicklow's a few times. Very nice collies.
