  4. Irish terriers were bred with a number of purposes in mind, instead of just one. These included rat hunting on land and in water, hunt hedgerows and catch rabbits in open, guard home against intruders etc. Hope this helps. I know what they were bred for as I have been brought up with Irish since my father had them before me.I just wanted to know if anyone else had experience of them,mine hunt hedges and catch the occasional rabbit its just that were I live we have lots of rats and I prefer hunting rats with them.Thanks for the reply though cheers don't know about your dogs but you've p

  6. well lads there was a black dog with short tail and a russell stolen along with a beagle and a lurcher last weekend know its a long shot, y.i.s, sionnach
  7. bumper season mate, had a couple of lows but it was our best ever season overall,most digs and new dogs started Thats brilliant i had no terrier start season lost my handy size bitch and seen some shit till i got her not make that mistake again gonna bring pup on every year but i know there no garuntees and alot of training yous boys do it right and breed your own stuff i had been out with hounds down here a good bit they hit on alot more than i would checkin burrows and im bringin on a springer hound and bull lurcher young springerhound in training foggy morn nice dogs and

  11. yeah some take longer than others. i usually shave mine during the summer an by the winter they've good strong coats, y.i.s, sionnach
  12. They are light in colour compared to mine aint they? All others in litter were pale like that.Is that a pic of a litter you got or is it an old pic? most pup's are born dark an will lighten up as they get older hope this helps y.i.s, sionnach
  13. well lad, i've used the long range one for a full season now its spot on everytime. but like you say it often reads say 6ft but actual depth is 4 ft. it has not failed me yet with 30 plus digs using it this season, hope this helps , y.i.s, sionnach

  17. well lads, thanks to all those who travelled from far an wide to support the march super turn out. now we've started to fight back against the goverment its time to continue the fight for our way of live, y.i.s, sionnach
