  1. Alright lads, just wondering, iv got 2 jills im breeding off this year and want to know if they would both have and raise kit in the same hutch without there being too much trouble ? If it can be done then all good but just want to know you're experiences on it.
  2. Only 7 minutes in and im f*****g boiling. Talking about natural hunting ground, IN A f*****g URBAN ARE???? LIKE f**k And they are just about to release a wild fox that was caught killing chickens into an urban area. Dont people understand for christ sake !

  6. Here's my pure whippet mate, Shes a bitch and is about 20" TTS. Had some very good runs with her and she even helped me tackle a injured fox. She was grabbing it by the tail while i was chasing after it and turned it. Wont go into that one very much. Shes a wicked little ferreter and aint scared to get into the thick stuff either. Shes done a full days ferreting and gone lamping on the same night, who ever said whippets are soft fuckers need to go out with a good one. My first running dog and i am over the moon with her, lamps, ferrets and day time runs very well, even loves bushing out wi
  7. My whippet growls at rabbits if she knows they are going to jump through the fence or hedge at the last second, its quite funny to watch as she just has to do it. But she does not do it if the rabbit is running up and down the hedge and she knows she going to get it, she can just know if its going to get away. haha.

  9. Cheers lads. And yes he is a pure GWP, justb got a short coat thats all, may come through in time but i think hes a stunner as he is TBH.
  10. Thought id post some pic's up of the dog as i havent done in a long while Took a camera for once on their walk about the fields this afternoon. Took them about 6ish as the temp had dropped off a bit, and it was a pleasure to be out. In the pics are my whippet May, my lakeland terrier Amber and my GWP Tod. The GWP is a young dog in training and is coming on great. Hes healing, stopping on the stop whistle, returing on command, and i have just started some retrieving with him. Here are the pics lad and ladies, enjoy.
  11. Hiya lads and ladies. Bought a Musto Woodland Jacket 1 year ago ( 2 seasons ago) and has been wore a hand fun of times, in fact not at all last season as the weather was'nt cold or wet enough. Since having it, i have grown a bit and it does not fit me well anymore so i have decided to sell it. It is a Small size (34"- 36") so will fit a child of about ages up to 15 or so or a small ladie. When i did wear it, it was a very comfy cat with nice hand warmer pocket and cartridge pockets with the strap to hold the pockets open to allow easy access in a rush. It also has a large poachers
  12. Way i do it is to fold the net twice, wrap the draw cord around the next until you have about 30cm of draw cord the place a thumb over where the draw cord is on the net, wrap the remaining cord over you're thumb, around once then push the peg where you're thumb is and take you're thumb out. The all you have to do it twist the peg and the draw cord gets tighter, this is the bets way and hold the net together with no problem.
  13. Hiya mate. 22-250 is a bit much really for fox unless you have large fields across large amounts of land. People think they need the bigger cartridge and faster velocities but really the small amounts of powder from say a .222 or .223 is more than enough to kill a fox at range mate. If its a dedicated fox rifle then pick a the most common of the rounds like the .222 or .223. They will cater for you're needs and will be more than enough to kill a fox. !
  14. dumb bells mate, and some bicep curls. Pull ups and push ups mate, there is an easy way to get bigger arms and forarms !
  15. Not really mate. I have got a double one ( two legs) and i can take rabbits up to 100yards with the .22lr on a still night. They are very handy for me and if my rifle is zeroed in then i dont miss that much off them.
  16. from smallest to largest mate .17Rem long range rifle .22Hornet150 yards max for fox .204 Ruger simular to the .223 but a smaller bullet and slightly quicker .222 Rem very good foxing bullet out to 250 yards .223 Rem just a bit more powder than the .222 and slightly more range .22-250Rem very fast and powerful, can shoot out to about 400 with practise So depending on what you want mate, id say a .222 or .223 is a good start. Do a bit of research on the calibers and find peoples oppinions. But remember, you dont need a hammer to crack a nut.
  17. ther,s allways bin foxs, were it 2 year ago or 20,,iff owt more big guns now than ever bin,,so i wud not say fox his down to the rabbs decrease,,,the foxs get some stick of these big guns big time,, Would reply to that comment but havent got a flying 5uck what you are on about sorry mate ! i would say there were more foxes were kicking about in the early days of lamping as hardly any old dog men bothered with them and no one really had guns so i very much doubt its anything to do with foxes foxes will take the odd rabbit but rabbits are not there main food source not enough to wipe
  18. Can't you see picture 2? Fcuking ugly dog if you ask me! Seriously though, nice kennel, and nice to hear about a company that does as it promises. Good work. Ha ha, cheeky 5ucker Yee, i am well pleased with the kennel, great quality and has a good structure. The company are very good. They, un like most, dont bullshit the customer and deliver their promises.
