    cornish cross hairs, dont make a bad start to the site, practise more as one persons posts were all deleted because he was talking about hitting animals and wounding them. i cant stress how important it is to practise more before you hunt. its horrible and inhumane way for any animal to die so before youre next hunt make sure you can hit on target 4 times out of five to avoid injuring your quarry and it dying slow and painfuly. Ye that makes sense, but a air rifle to a foxes head in a snare should be fine the Aaron.

    try this. At each end of the cord tie a knot onto the longnet mesh, on all 4 corners, This will prevent the net from coming off the cord

    Easy way to get them is find out where they roost ( watch them as they fly about and where they stay over night) and once you find that spot(usually in woods) get some good camouflage and sit tight up against a tree or bush, they come in sit down, you aim and pull the trigger simples

    FFS, here we go again. Does it matter if someone hunts or not? I'd have thought that it was just as important to have understanding and acceptance of our way of life. What about the thousands of folk that turn out to follow their local hunts each week? They don't do any hunting as such either. It is a bloody hunting forum so there no point joining if you dont hunt is there !

    I dont want to say to much about the permission because i was a guest there with the mate but near the estuary up north She is 11month now Shes a Bitch mate

    Me and my mate went for a hunting trip up north wales and we had a great time up the with the dogs ferrets 410(the 410 was used by another lad on sunday) and longnet. We went up monday morning and arrived at 9ish and started ferreting with the total bag of 12 rabbits, 11 if which were caught by the longnet. Monday night we went lamping the two pups retrieved a shot hare, and Tuesday we went ferreting with an extra two lads that live locally and had a better day with them on the same farm and we pulled 20 rabbits from there, not a bad two day i must admit, we are going back up sunday so expect

    Foxs DO have runs like rabbits, They use the same runs.! fFnd a run put a dead rabbit or bird on it and put a few snares!

    Try getting a 5inch length of hazel chop it in half and cut out 3mm on the inside of both bits then get a length of 8inch of cassette tape and put in from one end to the other inbeteween the two bits and tape or tie the two end tight, but before you do this make sure you pull the cassette tape tight on both ends and then tape/tie it and hey rseto yove got yourself a fox call!
