  1. Hello from fellow cornish man i am a little further west i am a camborne man

  2. yeah i will gut in the field next time, normally gut soon as but left for the morning as was along night! I dump all the guts and skins in a field aswell to put them back to nature.
  3. Here's another good nights shoot, through colly fields and open grass land over several hours with me mate and a spot light/ shogun ( which got pretty stuck at one point!)
  4. cornish cross hairs, dont make a bad start to the site, practise more as one persons posts were all deleted because he was talking about hitting animals and wounding them. i cant stress how important it is to practise more before you hunt. its horrible and inhumane way for any animal to die so before youre next hunt make sure you can hit on target 4 times out of five to avoid injuring your quarry and it dying slow and painfuly. I appreciate that even veteran huntsman will not always be dead on target,I am not glorifying the fact that a few where hit and crawled away, I would have lik
  5. What I mean is that I hit more but didnt kill them, they slunk off to burrows to die a lonely death. Have to get a head or chest shot for out right kill, anywhere else they will get away
  6. Air Arms S410 .177 Classic, Hawke Nite Eye Scope, alone in my Shogun in Three fields for 1 hour shoot, great night!!!! Got one from below looking uphill, 40 yrds head shot. Drove straight through a farm gate flicked on full beam and had two 30 yrd'ers straight away sitting next to each other. Superb! Bagged 9 in total bust stung more, shame. All the same it was fun. All my mates went to the pub, I stayed out and reeped the results.
  7. its a light weight, compact little death giver to rabbits and pigeons. I have one and it is great to have on the lap when lamping in a car at night, wont give you arm ache after a few hours stalkng either. Single shot is ample. For the price its ideal.
  8. Not alot but after an uneventful day I thought going back at night would be a good idea...i was Air Arms S410 Classic .177, Hawke Nite Eye scope
  9. couple bunnies I had one night with a spot light, double head shots, just under the ears!
  10. Hi, I would be interested in Shooting this side of the Tamar, I live in Perranporth and could drive up when ever. I work away and am usualy home for a few weeks at a time. Give me an e-mail if you want me to call to arrange something. I am a member of BASC and do shoot responsibly. Cheers mate, Jan
  11. Hi, I live in near Truro, Cornwall and have permission to shoot on some land loacally but after visiting the same fields a few nights a week the rabbits are becoing shy. The wood I shoot are similar with the pigeons getting even more sensitive. The best rabbit/pigeon farm land is kept for a small group of people who dont like anyone else encroaching. Does anybody know of any farmers/land owners who need help to lay traps, take out ferrel pigeons or keep the rabbits down? any suggestions will be appreciated chaps! Also a member of BASC. Cheers Jan
