Heres an exclusive for yous....... Ive been fishing with Ally Mcoist this week he had a few salmon ...the lad is a true gent and great craic even though he is from the darkside . He had to go back down the road last as the SFA have approached him for the Scotland job and if the terms are good he is going for it you heard it here first

This bitch is bursting to go ...that black dog of yours butler is a tidy animal ....no problems what so ever regarding the close breeding physicaly or mentally but ask us in a few years if it was the thing to do ...if they make the grade but they will be given every oppurtainaty ....I might have the big ginger pup up here this weekend should be good craic

The pinks are arriveing in there thousands daily big westerlys comeing in this afternoon so headed out onto the mud as the tide was bang on ....got into a favourite spot and set up the deeks spotted the first skene and called them in ...they swung over right above me and a left and right ...crakin 2 retrieves out the water ....20 mins later another skene of pinks and canadas gave them a few calls and they swung round to come into the deeks and another left and right and another very good double retrieve out the water ...that was it for the night as 4 is plentyto carry back ...stopped at tesc

Thats this litter 10 months now ....the bitch ive kept is tightening up very nicely after a few nights on the bunnies her retrieve and recall is spot on and she is looseing her puppyness after every outing as she realises what her job is all about ....her jumping fences in the dark is not 100% and she still doesnt realy know what her mouth is for yet but shes still a pup and that will come in time ......she has good wind plenty & pace and good drive ...realy looking forward to getting her in amongst it this season ....I realy enjoy bringing on pups and watching them thrive and develop

Totally agree ...that is the problem in the gun dog world most lads are motavated by the pound if a lad has a decent dog that has won a few FTs he will put it out to all comers with out ever seeing the bitch work as he just wants to line his pocket and in all honesty you cant blame them takeing £400-£500 for letting his dog get its hole ....but like Ali says im glad I dont mix in they circles ...maybe if the gundog and most lurcher and terrier men bred purely for improveing stock then there would be so much litters and there certainly wouldnt be so much shite going about . I honestly cant be

yes or barley husk at this time of year .....there is no cure for kennel cough I know a lad last week that was stung for over £ he was prescribed metacalm and Noroclav ...I dont know why ....astrong dose of garlic tablets ....trust me

Was at the ducks last night and a skene came in high and while building a parrtidge pen this morning some high skenes comeing over ....thats the start of it now ...should be dribs and drabs comeing in then big numbers when the wind turns northerly

They used to be a very handy terrier by all accounts but there will probably be more working (and by working I mean digging) plummers that beddies these days which says it all ....so why is there so much beddy crosses......? -

dont bother with decoys ...buy cradles, bouncers, flappers and a magnet and always keep a ew dead birds in your freezer

How many Beddy s are realy being worked properly as they were bred for in bigon days as ive never come accross one surely theres someone out there with a realy decent line ...most beddy crosses are rabbiting dogs

There were supossed to be some big westerlys comeing in tonight and still a big moon and the tide was low at dark so a few of us headed out onto a crakin spot ...the wind was not as good as hoped and the cloud kept the moon from helping us ...managed 5 mallard all very good high shots but it was too dark with the cloud for the teal and wigeon hopefully next week we hear the first wink wink of the pinks arriving
