It is not important that an earth dog has a good nose as long as it has good eye sight to see in the dark .....an old lad once told me he feeds his carrots ....I have fed my blacks reguarly on carrots at least twice a week and it seems to work

If there are lads leaving gates open etc fair enough, its understandable. Maybe there's more arseholes down your way but not all cause the damage you say. Totally agree with you big fella ....if the truth be knowen this comp has been a bit of a let down for myself ....would I be right in saying that the southern heat has been ongoing for nearly 2 months ?. I just found this pic on my puter of a buck on my ground taken last year ...he was a decent buck in his prime who I had plenty oppertunities to cull but he was left ....he disapeared around the time of the rut and ive not seen him since ...hopefully we meet up again this year
