The bitch on the left is 3/4 deer/grey who at past 9 years old now has lost a fair bit of pace but still does a bit although she is worked spairingly now as she is a bit stiff in the morning after a night on the lamp but as long as she is wanting to come out her kennel to graft she will be allowed to do so ......In her day she was up there with the best of them not the fastest ,tightest turning ,best stamina ,gamest bitch out there but just a good honest strong bitch that had the knack of putting gear in the bag ..... a few decent lads saw this bitch work in her day and she was thought high

They done a survey on our local wild fowling spot that has been shot on with lead shot since shooting began ...they sifted through the mud and from what I was told no lead shot was found not one pellat .....I hear for next season the wardens will be getting scanners so they can check wild fowlers ducks and geese for lead shot but what will happen is if any one on the mud comes accross a pricked bird they will have second thoughts about puting it out of its misery as they do not know who shot the bird in the first place and whether it was shot with legal shot .....just another rule that has no

Whin your welcome to come and have a look at my deerhound x run next season. no way is she second rate, im not just saying that becuase she is mine. ive seen many different types of lurchers run and to be honest the deerhound x has shone through the lot of them, im not saying that other crosses are no good (far from it) just my prefured x now thats all thats a very bold statement sh 08, concidering you said in the next post the dog is only 9 month old. shone through other dogs you have seen and its only 9 month we all have high hopes for the pups we run on , and at times

To the great wise one WHIN ...just because you dont know about decent deerhound saturated lurchers doesnt mean they are not out there .....I have a 3/4 deer/grey who is very much past her best at 9 but was up there with the best of them on all quarry a good honest bitch that produced good honest pups that are still doing it today ....there are a few pups going about with her blood running through there veins that are in the hands of good knowledgable hunting guys ...asyou put it ...as for shite deerhound crosses that may be true but you could say that about any cross and I would say there ar

How many pure greys have you run ?...any pics? Mainly track/ex track greys lamping couple of coursing greys. not mine my cousins. Dont have pics of them, Il see what he says then i might get a few.
