    Once they start hitting trees and stone ditches when deer jump or go through them the lighter built lurchers don't like it and a few boots off the big fellas don't be long sending coursing bred dogs on there toes. Gazzels ain't much bigger then a cwd and my old 7/8 whippet knocked them for fun

    Your dilusional mate maybe 1/4 but half x run all night if fit.. How can a dog fight in a box for 3 to 4 hours have no stamina or wind

    I don't know how you think bull xs have nothing in the tank if you have a bull x from game bred pitbulls they should run all night there bred to fight in a box for hours.. Any lurcher type apart from grews or 3/4s should run all night once fit and if they can't blame yourself not the dog

    People forget that when your breeding half bred on a long line although your line breeding lurchers your still line breeding the half pitbull/wheaton/bedlington etc so your line breeding a terrier type as well as greyhound but there that tight after a while they go either way that's what iv had with my experience. There's 3 pitbulls and 3 greyhounds in like 26 years of breeding so even tho you might be breeding aunt to nephew or father to daughter it's all the same

    Every line needs to be out crossed every few generations or you get dogs too tight bred. I had to outcross as I was doing generations of half x bull greyhounds and so tight pups started looking like 24" pitbulls with massive heads and they was been produced by 27 and 28" dogs that was catching fox on the lamp and the pups was purely around a hole dogs and soon as outcross was put in pups look like bullx lurchers again. So I don't agree with never adding other blood in a line. I'll have to outcross on my next breeding, dogs I have now are to close to go again, have a feeling ill end up with leg

    Back 15+ years ago a few of the old digging lads kept the Deerhound x greyhound (stag type) for around a hole or a fox sadly don't see that type anymore I like rough coated dogs.

    Your right mate I had a non ped x pedigree whippet dog was nice size was around 46 47lb killed a serious amou t of foxs for he's breeding super game and fast but by god did he's feet suffer the minute we lamped mountain ground, not even Heather and rock, just rough fields was the only let down with him and he had a low sperm count only had one litter and never kept a pup back as the mother was a saluki x and I was fox mad at the time..     Same here down south of Ireland night of killing 30+ rabbits are gone.. People blame the shooters don't get me wrong they had an impact but the worst was the lads ferreting and selling them at greyhound tracks. 30s and 40s ever day taken off land all through summer too wasn't long f***ing the place. 12 tá 15 rabbits is a good night here now. Iv a greyhound bitch here does me if I go out lamping rabbits or my son and nephew have a whippet each. Greyhound is good for around 8 runs but that's OK cause that's an average night here now only thing is she's a bit stiff for couple days after it.

    Pups in great order mate, only for all the hassle getting them across now with brexit I would off bought smooth dog for my nephew, he's dad preferred hunting was coursing so has the boy saluki mad ? but takes couple weeks to sort things ie think it might be 21 days after rabies jab before they can travel, have a vet here in Ireland that back dates that stuff for me but don't know any in England. No doubt you will have no trouble selling they look we'll reared. Atb
