I could think of better. And I did say "almost pointless" How many you seen work?? I think a cocker whip would be to small for me but springxgrey would work good round me! I have seen one and it couldn't catch a cold. But really if you think they are that good get one then. Edited to say; the dog in question is a fantastically trained dog and is great a ferreting, but I like my dogs to have a few more strings to their bows. I did'nt say they were good , i would not have a cocker/whip.... I may stick a good grey over my springer bitch in time!

few years back this all happened... So i'm on cleaning out the petrol tank off the old bike, i used an old dog bowl to put the petrol in,,,, next min my lass lets the dog out and me not thinking just carried on, then i hear the dog drinking turns round and the shes drinking out the bowl,, she starts going mad running round and round the garden for 10 min then bang just stops
