  1. Yes i have, Had a pair that one started to squeek sent them to the importer who sait it was something in the sole. They sent me a new pair not saying they will with you , But they are honest and fair. I now have two pairs of Meindl boots one drying if wet with a pair always dry, no more wellies.
  2. I've got one from Tony Emery Thornycourt Gundogs Notts chap ! Hes near mansfield . Not sure if hes still breeding as looked up on the net and he's hard to contact. Mine is VERY hot and was a pain to train as her prey drive is massive, but she is very good and will die to please !
  3. That's as maybe and is potentially a topic for another thread, but it doesn't address ANY of my comments above. I have disected your post, you have made no defence of it or justified any part of it, your response has simply been to call me a ******. You are very welcome to your opinion of me but name calling serves no useful purpose on a forum. Kettle calling pot ! Deker get your carer to read some of your abusive and S*** slinging posts back to you.
  4. Better buying the hungarian then use the cash you save to buy a Book on World Deer might help you work out what species are on YOUR site that claims you are a expert at vermin control. Must have a good rifle that culls North American deer from Berkshire
  5. Try loading a .17 cf ! A small amount of powder make a huge differnce
  6. Yes odd that all those offices and no land line or address, not reg at Companies house and no mention of BPCA or NPTA. And strangely all the offices excel at Shooting sporting quarry with not a mention of Mice Rat or Flee control, The site that looks like a small child wrote the client list. Looks like a dodgy scam to try and get paid for sporting shooting
  7. Was told today to expect loads of Ash to be felled, if woods contain ash dieback all the ash tree's have to be felled and either burnt or buried, at the expense of the land owner ! with no government compensation. I was told by a woodland owner he was going to fell all the Ash in his wood while it still had a comercial value. Not good news british woodland
  8. North american White tail ! There are some in Scotland , but very well looked after and certainly not feral of being shot by supposed expert vermin control company.
  9. Took my border loads of times, she has great fun ! Straight out the van and fights anything dog thats up for it most often her litter mate sister owend by another beater. Then on the lead filling my hands with bramble thorns. If im stupid enough to let her off she either kills all she can or comes back 20 min after the drive has finished ! Take you JR but keep on a lead and have fun but rememer she is bred to use her judgement and kill things. So don't expect her to be a Labrador. Hope you have a good day.
  10. Look up www.gameandvermincontrol.co.uk ! See if you can spot what the owners could not ! Clue :- What species is the Buck on the main page ? Gives you a lot of faith in their expert vermin & game control skills if they dont even know what they are shooting
  11. Shame your not so hot at your deer identification ! How many White tailed Deer a year do YOU control ?
  12. Hope she turns up ! Very much my Borders character she's off every time she thinks i can't see her , frightens my mates to death with worry ! Luckly she comes back when she's ready . Not nice waiting and shouting for up to an hour . ATB
  13. Black bag and in the dustbin, Freeze it first and put in bin on collection day.
  14. You dont mention if the rifle now holds zero with the mod removed? if it does then obviously that is the problem, firstly how is the threading job on the rifle, if the mod is not on straight the bullet will clip the inside of the mod with obvious results, again with mod fitted does the barell touch the stock IE no longer free floating, again no good, is the rifle grouping well initially with the mod fitted then losing zero after a few shots, mod comming loose may be the cause? I would check all the above before condemning the mod, then if possible try to borrow another make of mod and try that,if
  15. The wildcat is fat like a drain pipe the 12 is massive, T8 has good sound reductiong but is heavy , ase is lighter and shorter. Bloke in Scotland is selling a t8 on BBsAirguns for £100 and a ASE s5 is on Stalking directory for £200
  16. You won't go far wrong with a clulite 55w, and a 10 amp/h debden tracer. 100w is good but eats battery life.
  17. i know a litter blacks & black and white .
  18. 1/4 groups at 500m is that inches or mm ?
  19. Don't forget gun safe ! and 6 month probation at gun club then 3 month wait for a variation for vermin shooting to be added to FAC. After you have permision.
  20. 9 out of 10 times its mounts that cause scope problems.
  21. Once flying and second time on the ground ! After that they are too messy Sorry could not help it ! I'll get my coat.
  22. I think you will find that is the most common minimum ! And the one people new to stalking mainly use, until they learn it's good and bad points . I use .308 and 6.5 x 08 for fox muntjack and fallow in 150 gr (.308) and 129 gr (6.5) i have tried 100gr bullets which are the top end for .243 win but found they don't exit on a large fallow especilally if the hit a bone. No good at all on a large sika at last light . The question you asked is a can of worms . But i would pic from one of the below in no order imo all a more practical choice than a .243 win ! 6.5 x 55 .308 25.06 30.06
