    I must say it looks a lot better than the mk3, the collars look a lot more sturdy, and hopefully will not need wrapping in electrical tape. With good old leather collars too. Sure its bigger than the older mk3 collars, but they were flimsy, broke easy, and were a long way from water proof. Also the 394 batteries they run from are easyier to source than the 393's As a lot of hearing aids use the 394's It also has the magnetic switch, so you can collar up before leaving home, and save a bit of batterie power when there not to ground.     The world p***y means different things to different people. To me it means a wannabe gypsy, or plastic p***y. What some now call chav's (which comes from the gypsy saying"chavvy") used to be called pikeys when I was younger, and didnt relate to Travellers. Words change over time, and mean different things to different people.

    I dont consider myself a traveller, but my great grand parents on my dads side were. Also some of my better hunting partners are travellers.

    well my mutt has had upto 5 on the lamp in a night, and never connected with 1 in the daytime, so I would have to say daytime are harder.

    Good read this, what a craking dog this one looks I suspect if they dont put food on the table, they become food on the table.

    If you can afford to loose a few rabbits, I'd keep taking him out now, the more he see's, the sooner he will settle and start to realise whats going on below. Doesnt hurt to have him on a slip lead if he is too annoying, i.e walking all over, sticking his head down holes ext.

    I used to mince them, but now find it better too feed them whole, well gutted toped tailed and skined, but still whole.

    I dont like the cross, and not mad keen on the quarry, though i do keep chickens, so have had a few. And though I've never owned a bull, I've know a few I like. Each to their own really. Theres c**ts in all walks, and who own all breeds. Dont judge a dog by its owner or an owner by his dog. I see some of your point, but think your being too close minded. Hunting foxes with dogs is nothing new. Just out of interrest, what dog do you keep bezza ?

    I like the sound of a saluki X collie, never seenone though, seen saluki lurcher X collie though. Would be good to see your pic, or anyone elses out there running this cross.
