Let's try it this way. If the 12ft/lbs air rifle went onto a similar ticket, as say a shotgun, would you apply for one if meant you could enjoy your sport legally and without any problems? Is it unreasonable to store an air rifle in a locked cabinet?

Yes to licensing. Underground rifles would be a massive problem to police and restrict, although they would be classed as firearms offences. You'd be surprised how many would be turned in.

Try lamb bones as well. Ribs if possible. The bones give them something to work their teeth with. As they try and get the marrow and crunch the bones up it keeps their teeth sharp and in good condition. Don't be alarmed by white dog shit when feeding raw. This is normal. -

Well this is where it comes down to the interpretation of the act and the individual "inspector" or constable. I've attempted to read and digest the full legal document and my understanding is that they don't need a warrant if they believe that the suffering of the animal questioned is a matter of urgency. To me that means it's at the discretion of the RSPCA whether your case warrants them forcing entry to your property in order to seize your distressed animals. No Dog Owner Is Safe It's finally happened. The RSPCA are gifted their Animal Welfare Bill. Many have warned about it for a while but I still doubt that anymore than a couple of percent of people have a clue what it means. The above in an extract from their website. Is it worth commiting more troops, into an unwinnable war, and widowing more army/navy wives than we have already? I know all this is bollocks and that shit is happening that we don't know about but what do you honestly expect to see when we go to war? Fair play? Bring all the troops home. Unless it's Venom tuned an out of the box Weihrauch 97K will out shoot an any day of the week. Actually that's any day of the year. Technology moved on and while the was the gun of it's day, it's been superceded by better rifles. 's are okay but finding a decent one is serious work. Many have been dicked around with by home tuners and aren't worth the asking price. Power isn't everything and 19ft/lbs, ox-spring, won't shoot nearly as well or as accurately as a stock 77 or 97. Infact you'll probably go through a few scopes as the ridiculous recoil will damage the reticules of your sights

As far as I'm aware there aren't any true statistics for anywhere because THE STATISTICS ARE FLAWED (as I've constantly said since I made the mistake of posting in this thread). I have no axe to grind against Bull Breeds. The problem lies elsewhere I hereby withdraw from this thread. I cannot have a battle of wits when my opponent is clearly unarmed.

Like with most statistics these are flawed. Over the last decade and a half many countries have attempted to compile a conclusive list of statistics involving specific breeds of dogs involved in serious and fatal attacks. Any decent veterinary body would warn against such data as it's insignificant when compared to the background of the people that actually own the dogs and general level of ignorance of the high profile 'dangerous' breeds. DDA was poorly drafted and a total rush job. As a 'pit bull type' doesn't define a specific breed you're pretty much f****d if the ArsePCA decide that you've got a pit bull type. Dogs are bred down wolves. They shouldn't be left alone with kids. Any breed. The image of the PBT is largely due to those macho wankers that own/owned them. I mean FFS anyone wearing a baseball cap, seen with a bull breed, should be shot on site. Never mind muzzling the dogs how about neutering the f*****g Reebok Classic wearing owners? A revision of the DDA would see more breeds included, I reckon.
