LOL , staffords have the best reputation for being good with children, anyone with a basic knowledge of dogs knows this, common sense is the main requirment for owning any dog especially around kids,

its unlikely anal glands impacting in a young pup , but it not expensive at vet mine charged me a tenner a couple of years ago and taught me how to do it lol the cause is a build up of toxins in the anal sacks if you have a dog that gets it regular you can drain them weekly by squeezing the opening between thumb and forfinger no need to insert, a low protien diet helps too , scooting is not really proof of it , they usually go off food and bite base of tail till it bleeds tho do scoot as well , hope that helps

Mainly the owner , some dogs regardless of breed will become vicious all on their own, some need a looney to make them that way , and some can be bred that way, but at the end of the day you know your dog or at least you should it seems every time a dog bites or worse the owner says he never did it before or it just turned, unless the dog has a brain problem they dont just turn , they will have displayed aggression at some point before this , blaming breeds is pointless the owner must be held accountable in the same way as if they had inflicted the damage themselves, these dick heads who have

NO the name has been used as a cover for pitbulls tho, most people prefer to simply call irish bred staffords , staffords or working staffords

I think they are great dogs all round , dog aggression can be an issue but if you keep them well socialised from young , and dont allow a situation to develope and be vigulant they usually fine , but it only takes one scrap to start them , well bred ones usually love kids and seem to seek their company too
