  1. will have a look. I have threatened to go through ombudsman but u need to go through complaints procedure first and then they have atleast two weeks before u can take it to the next stage. But they sent me an email saying they are investigating. Plus I have read a claim can take upto 8months with an ombudsman. Its total bullsh*t, just feels like im hitting wall after wall. Being put on hold for 20 mins and so on, going back and fourth between departments. The amount of hunting I have missed out on. Nevermind always next season.
  2. No mate, its driving me mad. I got the cash saved but turns out the woman had no insurance so my insurance cant settle the claim until she starts communicating a takes blame and agrees to pay the costs. It sounds like its going to be long process so started looking for quotes again. Only problem is, its the same insurance I was with that are giving the cheapest quotes. What do I do?
  3. cheers mate.. will correct that asap. Glad you like the website chaps, not something im generally good with and I prefer to be out hunting than doing this sort of thing but then its good to see others enjoying your hard work.
  4. Hi guys I have decided to make a website with a few pics and videos added plus a blog. If you got the time to take a look then please do. Let me know what you reckon. http://moochingcameraman.webs.com/ good hunting rew
  5. well done JIM and Arron. Good bag as expected from you. This snow might mess up my plans of hitting the dales myself this coming weekend.
  6. Brilliant photos Andy. I would love to get fly bashing them whites, something neither of us have done. Be great to add it to her list. You seen ten, how many did you catch?
  7. Heres my bitch pup, now 23tts. Only 10 month and done bits and bobs learning from my older bitch Fly. http://s1107.photobucket.com/user/1MANNDOG/media/flyandgeminsnow.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 She should take everything but I was worried at one stage she might not make the height for daytime retrieves but shes done that once already. Good hunting rew
  8. just got back and caught 1 rabbit with the pup and nice retrieve once more. she fumbled another two and mates dog caught 4 which beats his dog pb. Good luck tonight guys.
  9. No mate you don't need to apologise, I understand where your coming from dude. I have just watched that video of my biggest fish and it took it a while before it was ready to swim again. Lesson learned. We have a sneaky feeling there must be a pike,20lb or more in this lake. Steve caught a 10 lb fish that had deep bite marks across its body. Could that have been the monster.
  10. cheers guys. I didn't lose many that I can remember. Only using 6lb line and on this I caught my biggest fish that took me 15 mins to get it. It just stayed dead still for ages and I couldn't bully the fish at all. Eventually we got him out with the help of nottzhunter but the fish only just went inside the net. We reckon 15lb in weight that one. Will find the video to show you.
  11. cheers northern lad. Only started last year so thanks, will keep that in mind. I thought it was just to keep the tension in the line.
  12. Hi guys, heres a video I have edited. One of the very many days spent lure fishing for pike on the boating lake this summer 2014. This time was with a bunch of mates and we camped the night with a few beers. Hope you enjoy and I should be adding more soon. PLease subscribe comment and like . Nice one chaps http://youtu.be/HE_JVumxtYw Good fishing Rew
  13. This car insurance business is seriously stressing me out. I haven't been driving for a whole month now. They are trying to charge me 1600 for the year when it should only be 700 because of that stupid ,silly woman that crashed into me. Im the one losing out again, lost my first year no claims because she wasn't insured to drive the vehicle neither was she registered to drive that vehicle. Stupid bitch. Well done vin sounds like me, a nice catch if you get me drift. lol. I remember a few year ago lamping and my cousin dog lost a rabbit in cover, but then the rabbit runs from out the hedge
  14. Well done guys. Do you fancy picking me up jim when you ferret this way?
  15. Hoping to breed from my bitch whippet grey x deerhound collie 24 tts. Looking to put a coursing dog over her of the fast paced type. Don't need the fancy names behind it just something that does the job on fen and field. My bitch http://s1107.photobucket.com/user/1MANNDOG/media/546956_10151231785969372_1997100455_n.jpg.html?sort=3&o=3 http://s1107.photobucket.com/user/1MANNDOG/media/flyand3rabbits.jpg.html?sort=3&o=3 rew
  16. Managed to convince my dad into taking me to one field for a quick lamp with GEM as I don't have my own transport. It was raving last time and we saw a lot of rabbits when we took Nottz dog pup there a couple week back who managed to catch four bunnys on his debut. With the wind I thought it was going to be perfect for my GEM but when we arrived it was a lot brighter than I thought. By the way my dad insisted on lamping so I could film GEM running. It has been a few years since my dad has been out lamping so I thought it would be nice for him. As we entered the field, my dad brightened up
  17. Yeah mate ground too hard for dogs. Will just tear up there feet on this shite atm. Want it gone as well or some more snow. Meant to be getting colder ffs. Well done Nottz.. I been using that butchers meat clever. Made quick work of my rabbits today.
  18. Thanks mate. No video's either. Will try tomorrow as I have the day off.
  19. My pup GEM is about 9month now and yesterday I took her ferreting with the longnet. Shes been ferreting a few times now and absolutely loves it. What I really like about her is she will try going through any cover to get to a rabbit without any hesitation. Only last week she pressured rabbits to run from under the hedge into the waiting path of another lurcher that was being held on slip. This resulted in a couple catches for this dog and few more hit the stop net. If she wasnt so keen to go in then I don't think the other dog would have been slipped at all. Back to yesterday and the first
  20. Very odd that, its like you would expect them to be at home. Then again on some permission I have there is a open warren about 10 freshly dug holes and we have never bolted anything from it. Play holes I have been told.
  21. well done dude and dogs plus ferret (need some babys from him) this white one I have is mustard aswell, wont come out until its bolted everything. Even had 5 from one set without showing for a good half hour. Did you miss many? Not only do you see the tracks in the snow, you get to see the fresh dropping and pee around the holes. Good luck tomorrow
  22. Just got back after a good old mooch in the snow, my pups first time she has seen the white stuff. Had a few runs and caught on the first slip. Shame I couldn't run the old dog but so glad I managed to get out thanks to a good lad I have started going with recently. Anybody else been out? good hunting rew
  23. Not me micky. I don't get caught.
