I would imagine the least they could expect is some kind of perverting the course of justice charge........i wouldnt like to see individual plods on the day charged after all they was just doing as they was told.......or even the ones who made bad decisions after all the ,s just seemed to be a decade of disasters the Bradford fire,Kings Cross station,Townsend Thorsen,The Marchioness,Piper Alpha it just seemed a time where public events took a hammering none of them were on purpose the only difference being the horrible lies and cover ups that took place after Hillsborough they should be strung

I see The Sun bottled it today.....anything other than " sorry " on the front page in big bold letters was always going to be a cop out ! Id be interested to know what the victims families would actually see as justice........after all said and done those coppers, ambulance staff etc on the ground were all doing what they were told by corrupt authorities higher up..........I think this case has showed the best and worst of our societies, its just strange the way the best of society was the " scummy football mob ".....and the worst of society was the so called " keepers of law and order "....

It wasnt it was about " overpaid spoilt children and the grown men that follow it "... 2 posts in ......................referring to footballers on a thread about Hurling............but f**k it you carry on.
-
I apologise mate i thought you was getting at me ...........too used to folk hurling shit at me i got on the defensive im sorry chief i dont disrespect folk until theres reason to and i jumped the gun on this occasion. I just dont get why or how the club not playing a match on the anniversary of the tragedy all these years on makes any difference to the victims.........that was my only point at the time............but anyway i probably didnt phrase it with too much class so my bad again.
-
Me as well mate the clean air takes some beating but i still find myself back in the stench of the East End most days !......The Lynn eh,Danny Williams old club....and Mark Kaylor if i remember right,or was he at Fitzroy Lodge i forget now....good little club anyway.
-
Fair comment....never seen it let alone played it......i,ll f**k off i think i only made comment because the chap started banging on about football and i couldnt understand why.......each to their own and all that
-
Alternatively..........................if you like Hurling dont start a thread slagging off football !!.............Cant say ive ever watched Hurling hence being a sports fan i looked at the thread........................................only to sit watching folk slagging off football ..............Mo Theresa for one so young you have a lot of advice to give, born out of a lifetime of experience no doubt !

Yep i know where you mean on the corner of St James St....not a Tubbys stall though is it.......................i only venture round there under the cover of darkness and even then its only in the mad rush to get back through the Rotherhithe Tunnel to safety Are you on the manor then Marshman ?
-
You listen to talksport as well then ......i heard Grobbelar tell that story the other week.....thought he came across a real nice fella its easy to see how those players would be forever affected by that day.
-
Stone me son your scarey !!.....i dont know you from adam yet you remember word for word something i said f**k knows how long ago.....do you have stalker like tendancies or just a photographic memory.............my " dry their eyes " comment was as regards the football club not the victims of a disaster......if everything came to a stop on anniversaries of tragedies the world would stand still.................................thats nothing to do with people fighting for truth and justice
-
Which one was that i think theres only 2 stalls left now one in Petticoat Lane the other in Walthamstow High St.............they do say in London your never more than 20 foot away from a rat so i can well believe it.......get a good atmosphere round the stalls on a saturday morning especially when the Hammers are at home
-
Seen a few programs with that fella the father of them Hicks girls what a classy and dignified man he is.............its people like him id tip my hat to showed great character all these years id of wanted blood and anyones would of done.............the whole of English football has these people in their thoughts and everyone can take a small victory from the dogged determination these people have showed all these years......they dug in and stood up for whats right and thats to be admired in any walk of life. Be interesting to read the headline on the front of The Sun tomorrow !

You still get nets as far up the Thames as Tower Bridge there not as popular these days but still once in a while i,ll pull up at a Tubby Issacs stall and have a natter with the black cabbies over a nice tub of jellied eels with lashings of pepper and vinegar....or maybe some oysters or winkles...............beats all these poncey foie gras and saivoury sorbets these soppy little jamie oliver gaffs are serving up !
-
My heros !!.........you want to watch blood and guts watch a war film....i prefer to watch athletic skill and competetive ability...........and a couple of million out of 7 odd billion hardly amounts to a popular sport does it !.............or is the majority of the world wrong

15 pound a lb down here chopped and gutted.

Fair do,s ....ive just never understood why folk feel the need to slag 1 sport when discussing another.....all this " real mans sport " nonsense......and foreign players, money etc..........you either like a sport or you dont....money or who plays it dont come into it if your watching what happens on the pitch.....well it shouldnt do anyway.
-
Well if your happy with your sport then no real need to slag other sports really is there...............or is it a touch of inferior complex maybe.......or plain old jealousy
-

Well obviously the vast majority of the world are wrong !...................and little old Ireland are right......its real easy to be good at a game no other c**t plays
-
Not really. Hurling is an amateur unpaid sport played for county by grown ups, as well as that it's the fastest field sport in the world and doesn't rely on imported players It is the complete opposite to soccer. Yes but nobody gives a shit about it...............football is the most popular sport in the world for a reason

Must admit im a bit ignorant to war/politics and all that carry on it just bores me.......but without doubt 9/11 has to go down as the most sensational and shocking day of our generation i find myself glued to them programs when they come on its one of those things we all hate but cant help but watch.......have to say as much as i detest those responsible i cant help but have a bit of grudging admiration for the bollocks it must have taken to do it....... My daughter was less than a minute from walking into the bomb in Tavistock Square on 7/7 and having recently married a lad who will be goin

Was telling some pals about Craigyboy earlier they said how old is he ? i said i dont know.......they said has he got kids ? i said i dont know.......they said whats he do for dollars ? i said i dont know.............they said is he otherwise healthy ? i said i dont know............in the end they said why do you give a f**k about him then ?........i said i dont really know i just do.....................maybe its just the power of human decency and respect for your fellow man.......well thats what id like to think anyway...... Id imagine its going to be a long slow path back to normality but

ol turn it in you big melt !....im simpy saying while some are enjoying victory Murray is looking for another one....thats to be admired in my book......... and anyone who can coin these daft phrases like " they have trained for years for these Olympics " must be half a div themself.............they havent trained any harder than anyone else trying to win at the highest level.....cracks me up all these catchy commentator cliches like " 7 years of hard work " .......as though a curry and a beer they went without at a birthday bash 6 years ago was part of the dedicated preparation for the O
