Id do 6 months in the biggest shithole nick in South America sharing a peter with Hannibal Lecter rather than do 12 months in a nice open nick in rural Suffolk............again,its the time you cant get back thats a bigger deterrent than a short sharp shock.....well it is to most normal people anyway.

I think most people are grown up enough to accept that a joke can be funny without it needing to be at anyones expense............we all laugh when we see someone fall over in the street it dont mean theres any badness in it...........and youd still help them up again.

Wrong.....sport as a leisure activity is for ANYONE.........sport at world level is for anyone CAPABLE........ Competetive sport at world level ( which Olympic events are )...........is not about " enjoying their chosen sport " thats what leisure centres are for........................its not about " human spirit " thats what setting personal challenges is for.............and its certainly not about " having a go " like its a fairground ride ! Nobody likes a bully.....and in my opinion its no coincidence why that type of dog attracts that type of owner............im first to admit ive owned extremely dog aggressive dogs myself but never in a million years would one of been seen walking the streets i used to drive 5 miles just to find a place to walk a dog and if/when i did walk them in public streets you would need to of been as nocturnal as i was to see them !!......................Horrible little bullying c**ts today with their horrible little bullying dogs neither of which would or could actually stand on if in any real danger th

And more power to them........................lets just not pretend its top quality high performance sport of which the world should stop and sit rivetted to like " normal " sport................i personally know a young disabled lad who trains in bodybuilding he has a fantastic upper body great attitude and work ethic ........but his legs havent been used in 5 years.........he is realistic enough to accept that anything more than personal achivement in his goals would be little more than " a gimmick "......his words not mine.

What a prick !...............I cant see any reason why it shouldnt be law for all dogs to be on a lead at all times in public places................dog parks,open spaces,forest areas ok fair enough................but what reason is there to have a dog off a lead anywhere else.

Thats a shame.....cant say as i really knew the woman but always seemed well mannered and respectful and more often than not had something of interest to say..........theres not many folk whos posts i make a point of keeping an eye out for......one less now though.

I feel exactly the same way....................good for them if " sport " can enrich their lives thats great.............but midgets swimming,blind people riding bikes or people with no legs in running races is farcical bordering on humiliation and not what sport is about................from a personal achievement point of view i have nothing but admiration for them,but from a competetive sport point of view i find it ridiculous that society sees it necessary to have an " Olympics " its equal opportunities gone barmy in my opinion.

Carroll done well today he,s a more intelligent player than i thought.....his awareness of whos around him makes him dangerous.....our third goal Fulham were so worried about Carroll it left Matt Taylor on his own to slot the ball in......not only is Carroll a dangerous player in his own right his sheer presence opens up opportunities for others........ I knew Carrols move would bring about a big performance today it got everyone up for it.....infact when he went off the game died........certainly a nice start for the boy and hopefully good things to come.

Well of course what was i thinking,if he couldnt play well in a Liverpool shirt how could he possibly play well in a West Ham shirt ......The lads played for Newcastle and done well.....he,s played for England and done well........the only team he didnt do well at is Liverpool ! Just because he dont fit in with the Brendan Rodgers " lets copy Barcelona " trend that a lot of these young managers are trying to adopt as their own........dont mean to say the boy cant play..................like anything,time will tell if Carrol can play and time will tell if Rodgers can manage.
