English Bull Terriers
gnasher16 replied to WorkingBullandTerrier's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Purely from looks alone as far as Ebt,s go thats about as good specimen as ive seen ............Also,unlike some of these idiots who like to lay down with their camera pointing up and have the dog pulling forward and stretched out so it looks lean......this is just a normal picture taken of the dog standing at ease....and it still looks good...........you can make almost any piece of shit dog look good in a photograph with the right angle etc................id like to see that dog totally stripped right out i reckon theres probably a good soild base there.........very nice looking animal -
I dont know you well enough to call you names ...............so a polite, many happy returns chief from me.
-
Oh i agree Lab.....but purely on speed.....147k for a 5 sec 0-60....................doesnt compare to 30k for a 2.8 sec 0-60 like the little car i was on about........infact even a 10k skyline is prob quicker than a 147k jeep........i love the Rangeys but i dont kid myself they,re quick cars not by todays standards
-
One of the quickest cars ive ever been in was a little Aerial Atom they are barely 300 bhp but only weigh about the same as mid size motorbike........even with a fat c**t like me driving it was around 2.8 secs 0-60 !.............Think they have a v8 one thats about 500 bhp as well.....scarey !
-
For 8-10k !! ....................................he probably wants things like an engine, wheels, seats etc with it .....anyway none of the Rangeys are particularly quick cars. Overfinch launches 575bhp Range Rover Sport Range Rover tuning company Overfich, has unveiled the limited edition £147,500 GTS-X, its most powerful Sport ever. Apart from that one.... Now clock the power to weight ratio, handling, aero dynamics.....etc etc etc

My personal view would be that I wouldn't have that type of dog if I wasn't happy with the types behaviour. It'd be like stopping a spaniel from hunting or a greyhound from running, it's what they are bred for. But i don't see that as the same as a dog acting aggresively to it's owner over food. I just don't see it as acceptable behaviour as I don't see killing sheep as acceptable behaviour, albeit both 'natural' behaviours. If I thought it was damaging the dog in any way mentally i would reassess it but I really don't see it. I'm not fecking behaviourist, just see what's in front of me. Perha -

To be honest i cant see any logic in rugby fans banging on about what big fairies footballers are compared to rugby players..........football is not about proving how butch and manly you are......you dont see boxers telling rugby players they are pussies.....so why do rugby players tell footballers they are pussies .....they,re different sports simple.......that said its not players who do say it ....its fans. I still say, envy over fame and fortune plays a big part in it.

Errr................errrr............errrrrrrrrrrmmmmm...............................f**k it,not much i can say really
-
Would a rugby player try a cheeky backheel in front of goal ?.......its a silly comparison mate.......Yes the diving is horrible and i can see how folk who are not football nuts like me would get pissed off by it.....but the game has changed its not like the old days everything has gone up a notch,competetiveness,money,fitness......its like coursing or greyhounds.....with only a little at stake you will see the sport at its purest and best......with a lot at stake the whole sport changes and not always for the better.............but,for a football nut like me the rolling around is a small pric

Been in quite a few fast cars....owned a few as well.....sadly my driving performance doesnt quite match up to the performance of the cars so im happy to sacrifice a few bhp for a bit more comfort these days....not too much though

Do you have any idea how embarrassed rugby players get when people say things like that ?........I had this chat with someone at an England game a few months ago, turned out he was a pro rugby player i didnt know him from adam ...... .....but as he said, the fact that a rugby player can go into a tackle, break every bone in his body, then get back up and carry on the game......shows you just how little pure fitness, skill and ability it actually takes to play the game !!.................When a footballer pulls a hamstring or gets some other knock,he cant carry on the game simply because if he,s n

When you say a fast car..........fast in a straight line that wont test your driving ability ? or fast as in track fast, acceleration, top end, handling, everything ? Depends if you want to go the Jap route if you are then for 10k id be going for an older r32 gtr rather than a newer r34 thats been hammered......same with the evos a fresh but older 3 or 4 rather than a hammered 6 or 7......depends what you want from a motor apart from speed.

Seeing this is a thread about Staffordshire Terriers,a breed notorious for following its instinct of being dog aggressive...................would you people who are so adamant as regards the food thing......be equally as adamant about stopping a Staffie being dog aggressive ?.......anyone who has owned or been around dog aggressive bull terriers will know its virtually impossible,so whats the answer .....you simply avoid situations....................or..............should you beat and batter the dog into acceptance in order to establish YOUR dominance over what is also a perfectly natural tr -

Many years ago i owned an old bulldog who looking back was a pretty poor dog in what she was bred for.....yet she was the most nastiest and predatory animal ive ever seen before or since........she didnt want to just fight a dog she wanted to literally drag it away and eat it........trying to get her away was a task in itself......yet i could take food off her blindfolded..........other dogs ive seen and owned were great working dogs but you wouldnt want to try taking their food away, now these dogs were kept in kennel runs with absolutely no danger of anybody coming to harm via the food proble -

Breaking a dog to livestock....walking to heel on a lead......are everyday occurences any dog anywhere is going to experience so there is reason to it............what everyday occurence causes the necessity to take a dogs food away halfway through eating it.................walking to heel can hardly be compared to stopping eating midway through for unnaturallness ( if thats a word )......................different people different ways is right....im not saying im right and your wrong ive just always found the inside of a dogs mind fascinating......and in my experience getting the best from a d -
You sure .........The Boleyn is 25 minutes from me,apart from The Daggers, West Ham are still the closest pro football club to my gaff................and unlike you northern lot with your cockney reds and liquorice allsorts all over the place West Hams catchment area is East London and Essex......and i dont know any proper Hammers who are not from East London or Essex.........................................Brightons 90 miles away on the south coast.......see if someone will part ex you a satnav for your shell suits

they are taken from all professional football leagues in europe.... so you could be scoring in the polish 3rd division and i guess it counts.... its the european top scorer, not the european top league top scorer. drew 2-2 with millwall after being 2 up about 4th time this season we have been 2 or 3 up and drawn or lost... I see ....................think i might chance my arm in Kosovo or somewhere always fancied myself as a striker and that Messi.....well he aint all that is he
-
its only to use when its pissing down stops the dog being in box all day In that case just get a slow electric mill then mate.....even the people type ones just board the sides up....like Yokel said a free running mill is for opening a dog right up and is a conditioning tool rather than just a form of exercise when its raining.
-
Surely thats only based on statistics though aint it.....i mean scoring goals against Millwall and Charlton every week is not quite the achievement of scoring against Barcelona and Real Madrid is it ....that said i,ll have him in my side at the moment
-
Depends if its bearings or inline skate wheels.....and more importantly the condition of them........if the belt will only turn 1 or 2 revolutions from a firm push with the hand chances are they,re on there way out.................not sure how good it will be for a lurcher even if it was mint.
-
450 mile round trip for that bollocks !...should of gone and watched The Daggers instead..................anyway at least yous are all square and can all still share each others shell suits after todays result....oh thats right you do anyway its all peace and harmony on derby day up there
