  1. Years ago i had a gym and the toilet seats kept getting broken, turned out it was the joe dakies standing on them rather than sitting......ended up having the H & S officer round ordering us to install a standing cubicle ( like a shower ) for them.......we decided it was easier to ban them from the gym !....this was 10/15 years ago mind you, probably wouldnt get away with that nowadays.

  2. Was told by a chap who was in it that The Gentleman wouldnt be my cuppa tea and wasnt wrong i think these Guy Richie spoof type crime films have had their day now nothing will ever top Lock Stock for that genre of films in my opinion.

Just watched that Roadhouse what a load of ol pony that was is that ridiculous dopey looking smile stuck on Mcgregors face....f**k me that was bad !

I’ve just watched a very old documentary (53 years old to be exact !) about them developing the new council estates in Battersea called “Where the houses used to be”……it’s on YouTube  for anyone with an interest in such random stuff.

If you do happen to watch it, just have a look at the demographic…….and then look what these places became with a different demographic.

Those of us who remember a time before know the cost……

Id imagine that would apply to just about every estate across the country.....in East London when we was kids you was seen to be doing quite well for yourself if you had a council place.

Could be a shout mate see how I get on with the local place in a couple of weeks but maybe worth sending them pictures for an estimate cheers

You can get an online valuation at Sotheby's free mate just send some pictures and details its normally quite accurate.....they used to have a minimum consignment of 3k in London so might not be for them.....auctions are not always a good gig though ive sold wine through Sothebys and not got as much as i could of got from a private collector just depends how quick you want shot of it really.......quite exciting really aint it not knowing if its worth 10 grand or 10 bob 😂...let us all know how it go's mate.

It’s a bit like the problem family when your kids are in school teachers and everyone else pandering to there every need bending over backwards not to upset them, I was asked to be nice to such a family after they started an issue with my daughter, then my wife when she intervened, had a phone call from the headmaster asking me not to upset them for fear of reprisal, so I knocked the door and kicked the old man all the way through the house in front of his vile family I then told them each time any of my kids got grief I would give there dad a more savage beating, had a formal apology from the head on behalf of the family next morning and my kids went on to uni,  it’s a simple life lesson that everything has a consequence

Not sure i agree with such a violent reaction as im a very lenient, peaceful person :whistling:......but totally agree with the sentiment.....what other way is there.

I agree ,from what Im told these days, its not as it was in the early 90's....some lads find it easier on the inside, than staying out,I know more than  a few boys who been in 20 yrs on that I.P.P nonsense ...lost in the system now,I personally wouldn't want them outside in todays current climate... because some poor f****r would be killed and they be back inside within the week 🙈...Im glad,I got locked away at  a young age, wouldn't of changed it for the world,I was a horrible little cnut, that needed sorting out...got it all out of my system ,and it woke me the f**k up...touch wood, I've kept my nose clean all this time,I wouldn't throw it all away again...way too much to lose  these days...back then,I had nothing but a stinking attitude and a massive chip on my shoulders 👍

I just think the whole system has become lazy, the amount of bullying in nicks today is disgusting really, screws turning a blind eye for a quiet life.....one of the most decent and helpful people i ever met years ago was a screw so not knocking all of them but many these days just take an attitude of " its beyond our control so f**k it ".....no bollocks its your job !

Cat A nicks are actually safer places than open nicks now....whereas years ago you had lifers wings for example now they're making lifers finish off their sentence in a D cat with runty little nobodies doing 6 months for joyriding getting in their face every day its just not on.

They're not supposed to be nice places we know that but very few industries have got worse over the years.....they crack on about progress in every area of society yet allow some of societies most in need to get shit on every day......theres some sick people in jails who are just not getting help.

so lets get this right you and your family are good people but you have a family member who's a knut and does bad things so for his sins you and yours get evil things done to you, something doesnt sit right about punishing the innocent.

Yes,and anyone who looks like them !

Seriously though, whats the last thing you would tell your kids before going into somebody elses home...." make sure you behave yourself "

This is clearly not a basic standard thats carried by these savages....do what the f**k they want in their own homelands but coming here who else is responsible for a young man who decides to follow a death cult if not his father ?

  10. Funny little video that, bit before my time looked like the 70's.....clubs in London went through a strange phase in the era after the Krays and suchlike, i think they tried to be a bit more respectable up till the drugs age of the 80's/90's then it was pretty much anything go's....bouncers/doormen were feared back then, nowadays since licenses nobody gives tuppence for them.

  11. I always tend to think the best type of punishment for people like this is to punish their families as well.......let it be known publicly early on that this is the way its going to be thereby forcing people to accept theres consequences way beyond your own mortality, particularly in foreign lands....force families to be accountable for the monsters they are raising.

As i remember it was about 96 slopping out was banned so fair play keeping your nose clean all this time

Prison is about losing your freedom everyone knows that no problem, but it shouldnt be about demeaning men some of the shit i saw over the years its no wonder some folk are beyond help the whole system needs to have a long hard look at itself in my opinion.

I used to hate London working up there on nights then gad do a few months working up there through the days and having a wander after work I got to like it

Exactly that, you cant make judgement on a place as a tourist you have to get into the nooks and crannies of a manor and see it working day to day....in a place the size of London one area can be massively different to half a mile up the road.

Who’s marching 23rd then ? Lots of Scottish Welsh and Irish going meant to be thousands. Who’s going then? Il be there.

whoever don’t don’t have the right to moan about the state of the country imo

I will be....same as im at all of these public shows of support.......but i disagree with " whoever dont dont have the right to moan ".......anyone can show pride for an afternoon in the safety of a crowd.....but how many people actually live their lives with that pride, how many people show it and speak it at every available opportunity to anyone willing to listen, getting out into neighbourhoods in small numbers where your opinions might not go down too well.....how many show their support in real ways both in body and financially, maybe putting your arse on the line occasionally, how many genuinely care beyond walking around central London in a large protected group drinking beer and singing songs once in a blue moon......dont get me wrong im all for these type of marches but in reality they are a tiny little cog in a much larger wheel.

Blimey yeah remember that...nobody in our house liked me enough to get me one of them though most of my gaming fun was down the arcade with a pocket full of 10p's 😂....pacman,space invaders......what was that stupid driving game with a steering wheel bigger than what was in most cars.

  17. Its something that often gets joked about but can you actually imagine the feelings of retribution you would have for somebody who did that to your recently deceased daughter or anybody close....frightening really.

No,I retired early and am very inquisitive,I am always out and about and speak to anyone and everyone, lots of free time time plus curiosity,if something piques my interest I want to learn as much as it can about it,London is super saturated with immigrants and it’s a problem that’s worsening daily.

Gotcha, aint gotta explain yourself mate i was just curious thats all...most folk ive come across over the years with a camera at the ready seeking out randomers tended to be journos looking for a story.....dont you ever cop for a right hander ? 😂its one of them things these days folk dont quite know how to deal with it what with all the new laws and these divs with Youtube channels sticking cameras in peoples faces.

And yes as you say still plenty of interesting stuff, whats the saying " If you're tired of London you're tired of Living "
