  8. they are without a shadow of doubt. greyhound otters. much smaller and with thiner tails than the full size ones. often called mink
  9. use a little bit of polistyrene on a compact mirror kay. five minutes practise in the house and your away.
  10. i thought this thread was about heavy lurchers' as in heavy made dogs. not fat dogs. you should call a spade a spade. ive never owned a fat working dog so havnt a clue what to do with a fat dog..but working it in the summer wouldnt be good for a fat dog people who hunt hares and young foxes in the summer months should be horse whipped. or publicly flogged arsewipes
  11. a heavy lurcher needs walked and ran plenty of lead work and loose running. chaseing a ball is ideal as is running a lure. i find three or four miles a day plus off lead stuff for ten /fifteen minutes is ample. they shouldnt need it in the season. . the key to keeping a heavy lurcher at its best is getting its weight right. my dog runs like a cart horse if he is carrying any exess weight. and burns out quick if he is to light. . weigh your dog regular and keep notes on how it performs. you will soon find an ideal weight. some folk would be surprised how quick a heavy made dog can be if kept r
  12. i wont go to a peddler pal. my moral standards are pretty low. but not that low. i allways buy from folk working there dogs to a good standard. at what quarry i aim to work it too the plummer was given to me for a token fee delivered. i aint knocking anyone in particular. just the general double standards
  13. no, but thays not unusual as there is hardly any around here i'm hoping its a false start as i hav'nt got my bigger lens yet. and am hopeing for a pic or two during the rut.
  14. anyone posted a similar add on here now would be villified. and ridiculed. as a low life scumbag puppy peddler. makes you laugh oh the irony of it all.

  16. it will be interesting to see how many genuine first cross greyhound / wheatens . are about. you will get plenty multi breed lurchers with wheaten in there makeup. but then a lot of these will be made up . genuine first crosses are very thin on the ground
