  3. Was a brilliant day thanks very much ray the young lad was delighted
  4. Brilliant read and excellent pictures nothing better than being out with the hounds and hearing them in full cry and that cry from the same area brings a smile to my face great seeing them marking.
  5. Just to add any hound will do once marking Harrier, fox hound , or cross cheers
  6. Seen one work very hard game dog fox hound greyhound very clever dog.he was more lurcher looking with a fox hound type head and big bone in his leg, racey as well
  7. Great pics lads nice to see the hounds marking aswell .
  8. He can only catch it if he has a dirty pad over his eyes
  9. I thought the same meself dezzy till i seen it for meself we were out digging and a friend of mines wheaton bitch chewed through the lead and went to ground and travelled no problem and she was about 17inches and about 60 pound well over weight i was very suprised
  10. Good post kev i think 5 to 6 digs is plenty and if its a handy hole you can here the dog working away and you will know when its time you can open up,If hes a hard dog get to him quicker rather than a sounder you can leave working away.just my opinion but i think this amount of digs is enouf to let the dog familerise him self with his quarry for his first season.
  11. Did you order yours from that site above smasher if so was it dear to get to ireland?
