  1. Gnash she is on limited mileage 5K and she has used 2K of those since September. She can buy extra miles at £147 per 1K miles. TC
  2. Basil is an annual herb, so it only lasts a year once it flowers it dies. So dependant on how long ago it was sown it does not have much time left. https://www.todayshomeowner.com/annual-and-perennial-herbs-for-your-garden/ TC
  3. Unless it is heated the first frost will see the Basil die. You would be better off taking them out of the pots trim half an inch off the roots all round the root ball and re-pot them with fresh compost in the same pots. TC
  4. It's not an issue with the cost of the insurance, it's the fact that they told her she would not be penalised for night driving and she is. As it stands now she only has 13% no claims discount where because of her style of driving it should be at least double that. TC
  5. We will see? Even as an agent you have to be truthful with your advertising and sales pitch. TC
  6. What is really pi$$ing me off is she drives every day like it was her test, to have all those excellent ratings for the rest of the criteria that proves no matter what time she is driving she is consistently a good driver. Then they are penalising her because she works late. TC
  7. I hunt because I have to. Not out of financial necessity, but because it satisfies my necessity at the most basic level to provide. TC
  8. Sorry, I am still fuming, thanks for the link I will gather all the facts and phone them to see what they say can be done. Many thanks. TC
  9. Thats the problem, she did not buy a banger, she bought a 5 grand diesel and the insurance is over a grand. The problem is that they fecking lied and said there would not be any penalty for night time driving when there clearly is. We had cheaper quotes but went with them for that reason. TC Your call was recorded "for training and quality purposes" get in touch with the insurance ombusdman.....making a complaint is fairly easy. Let the insurance company know first, they might change their minds. http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publications/technical_notes/motor-insurance

  11. They really are a rip off. My granddaughter 18 has bought a car on her own, and is paying for it herself. She is in collage but also has two jobs as well as the collage to pay for it. One of the conditions on her getting insurance is a tracker on the car. Most companies now heavily penalise them if the dive at night so we sourced a company that said they did not, because one of her jobs needs her to drive at night home from work. They have a scheme where through the tracker they assess her driving, she accessed it tonight and she only had 4+ out of 10. When she looked at it she had 9+ for
  12. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/223308-where-to-buy-purse-nets-net-guide-read-here/ It's been updated now so any of the people selling nets should be able to help you. TC
  13. I am not really sure how road kill works. I know with any other species Badger included that if you make a report to Natural England, I think it is now or DEFRA as it was stating where, exact coordinates the body was found it is fine. But I think (I am not sure though) as far as otters go it is a no-no? I seen this one run over earlier in the year, but left it where it was. TC
  14. Could not find the first one but this is still a good read. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/59471-lamping-competition/ TC
  15. bring the teastas mor hahaThat would be one way Test their strength, stamina and agility varying by breed, then give them a breed specific test ie German show Alsatians getting Schutzhund titled. If the dog gets a certain amount of points in the above tests, the dog will be allowed to enter the better KC shows. That should gradually have a filter down effect with non working pedigree dogs getting healthier. But it would not solve the main problem. In that most breeders breed for the Judges, each judge has their own opinion on how a dog should look. As a judge is in place for years bree
  16. Where has anyone even asked me a question in this thread The problem I see is breeding show spaniels that have huge long ears that constantly have trouble , GSD that are all but cripples , cavalier King Charles were the skull is to small for the brain , bulldogs that can't give birth naturally and can't breath properly the list is endless just can't be right ..why would you breed a defect into a dog just to conform to a breed standard that is far removed from the dogs original job , I've no problem splitting show and working dogs providing the show dogs are healthy .. The piece in

  18. BGD you really should go in to politics as you never give a straight answer, just answer a question with a question. TC
  19. Just think chicken, whatever you can do with chicken you can do with pheasant. Pheasant Kiev's are nice for a change. TC
  20. Nope. About sums it up. Players complaisant, think all they have to do is turn up. Scarlets team, the academy and journey men are keeping the internationals out of the side. We all hear it's a transitional period, bollocks they have coached the rugby out of the players and are now telling them to go and play heads up rugby. It will just not work. If the players cannot or will not adapt then get some one new in. Pick the form players that can play the type of rugby they want. TC
  21. I bought the wife an Ironing board for Christmas once, bad move. But it was an expensive one, and she had been moaning about the one she had. There is no pleasing some. TC
