  1. I've always respected other people's views so... origanal post edited. I never meant to upset anyone! Usually just vids of what I get up to or dogs doing their jobs. Cheers Luke
  2. Good luck with the little bitch mate hope it turns out to be something minor.
  3. Just got back, having a cuppa, then bed. I didn't get to see the whole show as I was stuck in the Lurcher room but my wife had a quick walk round and managed to get me some Stalking just outside Somerton! (god I love that woman!!! ) It wasn't huge but they had most things you could need on sale from rings and thread to make purse nets to Ferret boxes, slip leads and Decoys. The Lurcher show was pretty well attended so a bit packed! also quite hot so a few dogs lost their temper whilst waiting and a game little beddy whippet had a snap at Tia, but I managed to find a corner to hide her in (
  4. Absolutely stunning photos Martn, JD's going to be pissed though, He has to crawl a long way to get that close!!! Cheers Luke.
  5. LOL I rarely argue on here! disussions good though! Nearly same leg length but anywhere between 20-50lb lighter than an EBT, and purpose breed to hunt, You decide!!! Still it's nice to see people working them and put one on stilts and you got yourself a Dogo but as Kiwi said, give the halfback any day! Boar Hunt in Belgium
  6. Goran has posted another topic stating the Lurcher and Terrier shows are now on both days. Is everyone still going on the Sunday?
  7. Ok, so ones baying instead of holding but the point is, they've still stopped it! and if that was an EBT without a Jacket then it would of needed it's guts stitching back in and of course a faster dog, with more stamina to catch the boar for it in the first place! The vids you put up, you can see the Holding dogs have still got their leads on! they've been driven to the catch then let loose to hold it! and they still get knocked about like little fleas! second video, 55 secs in (is that a flying white dog I see! lol)
  8. http://www.surplusandadventure.com/shopscr3080.html Hard wearing, comfy, waterproof boots. Even Grade 2 boots have hardly any wear on them! I've only had two pairs so far in about 7 years and my current pair for the last two years and wear them all the time for everything, from work, to shooting, even to the pub. I've only ever waterproofed the 'new' pair twice. I just can't find a better boot for the money. Well worth £20-£30 (grade 2's occasionally come up for £9.99 on this site) Hope it helps. Cheers Luke.
  9. My father in law lives in Fareham, so we'll be dragging our ugly mutts down there! Head down his for the day then stop in on on the way home. So if you see a pestered husband, being nagged by wife and child and dragged about by two unruly dogs, then feel sorry for me and buy me a pint!!! Cheers Luke.
  10. Vomiting cramps/abdominal pain strong enough to put a dog on it's knees is not something for a Forum mate, get the poor girl to the vets, could be any number of things. Be prepared though it's probably gonna cost. Cheers Luke.
  11. I think theres a loop hole you might want to check up on. If game is supplied in an 'unprocessed' state (as in ungutted and not skinned) then you can supply as much as you like, then the chef/cook that has done all the relevant courses (they must of too work in a commercial Kitchen) can then process them himself. Might be worth checking out? Cheers Luke.
  12. Well managed to get the day off so heading out for a walk in a bit for Emily's (my daughter) and Roo's first time in the snow!!! Got less than an inch so far here in South Somerset but here's hoping we get some more!!! Fingers crossed!
  13. 'The no dig challenge' - Failed! Cracking story and good photos to go along with it - Success! Great read Brimmer, thanks for sharing. Cheers Luke.
  14. I don't think the Missus would be impressed if one became four! becides that would mean pinching another Packing crate from work!!! and I wouldn't know where to start with a Falcon!!! Last time I saw it outside. I don't know what type it is? It gets tied to a leash thing in the summer so it can get some sun but apart from that it pretty much stays in his shed.
  15. Sounds like a cracking day out! and some brilliant pics!!!
  16. I presume the thick part of the Collar is to protect the greyhounds throat when it pulls on the lead?
  17. Precisely Stubby, shows how much time a locator collar can save! but it's how we started before we could afford a Deben, using bramble down the holes looking for Fur on the end thorns, or direction of the hole. Still I'm fixing the Reciever Box at the mo, put a multimeter across it and looks like it's the terminals connecting to the battery that are broken so I'll solder some new ones on and check it again. The One, I don't think I've got her permenantly, just until he remembers to pick her up! I'll try and get some photo's next time, the hedge has been stripped out at the bottom by the
  18. Well we found out who owns the Ferret we found, our next door Neighbor!!! (the one with the Falcon) apparently he's got four in total! he used to do a lot of hunting years ago but now spends every night in the pub. When we mentioned we had found a Ferret, he told us he had lost one and then described the Ferret he had lost, even down to the fact shes spayed, (something I hadn't noticed!) told him to come round anytime and pick it up... well that was two weeks ago so thought it was about time the Ferret earned it's keep! We dug out the Mk1 box and collar from the shed, installed some new batte
  19. Email sent! When I click on the downloads they open a new blank window but don't load anything? Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Cheers Luke.
  20. The Cluson Clulite (deluxe version), now comes with a gun mounting kit and suction style vehicle mount. You can swap between the handle, scope mount and vehicle mount in seconds as they all use the push fit slot on the Lamp. I'm sure you could buy these accessories seperately for your existing clulite? could save you a bundle of money! Cheers Luke.
  21. Either, but cork just as good and easier than trying to cut round pegs!
  22. Haven't been to bad really and I've had it two days on the trot! (excuse the pun). Haunch wednesday, then the loin yesterday (just quick fried it in olive oil but forgot to take photos).
