    We have old glazed artificials on this etate been in over 50 years plus concrete pipe ones they all hold well but the best by far for holding is three modern plastic ones ..Ive worked this estate 40 years so have good knowledge of the holding qualities

    we did this many years ago when when the russells all had short legs. lol. pups came to small. and got mauled. as they had a fair bit of bottle. now a dog like Ace over one of the east essex terriers and i would jump on the waiting list I'd be interested in seeing a few pics of that mating to see if they turned out like mine, what year would that of been then ?? You also mention in an earlier post that you would of liked to of seen the new blood crossed back to a good working terrier, well that's old news as I'm well ahead on that front, WM Never happen

    make sure the wipermotor has same colour plug as the black plugs are different to the white.usually £15 secondhand

    Used no dog from yorkshire in my smooth line mate ..Did use one from yorkshire on a bitch from another line but never produced any bitches with any size .But then the dogs owner keeps mainly dogs

    yeah i agree it is hard to keep an eye on size and confirmation aswell as mental attributes so you can wire in things like that. do you keep a strain of terrier donnyc? got white dogs here exactly the same as i had 40+ years ago same size looks workstyles etc..Dont count though as there White LOL I dont keep black dogs either i was just using it as an example, Have u inbred them or have you crossbred them and have u found it easy to keep them going mate?     Inbreeding done too much will often leave you with very small bitches dogs seem to come right but a few lines different friends have the bitches come way too small ..Better if it was the other way round ..Its the bitches in decent lines that need to have substance..Few of the old timers if you went to there kennels you would see plenty of dogs but few bitches up to size
