  1. Hey Irish Lurcher, Do you have these over there?
  2. Howdy, Been out for a bit, but finally took a picture of a couple of my pike lures. These are what I normally use for pike depending on month and time of day and location, (what the pike are feeding on at the time, etc). The top rig is my trout rig for deep trolling. Just stick the head of the bait in the plastic cover and shove a toothpick through to hold it, shove the trebble into it's side and hook it to the downrigger.
  3. Yep, my tackle box is overflowing as well, but for pike, I generally use three different spoons (five of diamonds, red and white devil, and a green with yellow and black). If one doesn't work the other will. I also use a meps spinner (black and yellow), and for those weedy waters muppets (if they are what I think they are?). I have tried shads and other imitation bait, but they do not seem to work as well. Although in the spring (june here) they seem to work okay. They worked great, when I lived down south and there are so many more fishermen there(maybe there is a connection?). Als

(although I am not very good at fly fishing) This last pic is of an Inconnu (coney). This is the only place where I have ever seen them caught so I do not know how wide spread they are. But this is the largest one that I have ever heard of being caught. Before we caught this one, I
  5. Have you caught any of them large muskies. That's a big negative. My brother seems to catch them, but I never have. I have caught some fair size pike though:) Here's an interesting catch,
