I've laminated a few pictures of my bosses head. Quite enjoy shooting those.

There are a lot of numb nuts on the bbs site who dont know what they are talking about............probably never shot so much as a tree rat in their life. Maybe dont even own a fooking air rifle. Much better off here IMHO.

The Weihrauch all day long mate...........if I had the money for two PCP's I would get two HW100's, a standard length 177 and a carbine 22. It's better bulit, quieter, smoother and a dream to use on rabbits in the field - kills them for fun. I had an S410 and thought it was the muts nuts........until i tried my uncle's Weihrauch and realised it was superior to my rifle in almost every way i could think of. I decided right then and there that I had to have one. Whatever you do though, get a divers bottle and hose to fill it...........none of this :download: hahaha

Standard length for me.........and thumbhole stock. And 177. And weihrauch.

Had it happen with an Air arms S410 in .22 (which I sold)...but to be fair it did account for more than its share of rabbits and squirrels in the three years that I had it.....but I can say in all honesty that the weihrauch Hw100 I have now (177) is far superior in build, accuracy and power. So far whatever I have hit has met it's maker then and there......Flopsy gets it in the head, flopsy is dead

As above......in my experience it aint so much the conditions as the time of day, dawn and dusk (as with most wildlife) is the best time to spot them but of course if there are plenty of them where you shoot, you can get lucky any time of day if you're quiet. They definitely head for their burrows in wet weather.................but strangely I have had my best bags when there is a thunderstorm looming, warm and overcast but couldnt say whether that made the difference or was just coincidence.

I prefer 177 also, but that doesnt mean a well zeroed 22 isnt just as accurate. Only at ranges in excess of, say, 30 yards will the 177 have any real advantage in my book.........but I still prefer 177 in sub 12ft/lb guns and 22 in FAC. I'll tell the rabbit in my freezer it can go home now because i only shot it with a 177 :)

I am interested in getting myself a .22 cal pcp, I love the weihrauch I have in .177 so considering another (carbine this time) in .22, but could be tempted into a falcon rifle.....I would like it in a carbine length.......what models are there out there and does anyone have one? Are they well built and powerful?? smooth?? Please advise, I dont want to spend good money and be disappointed. Cheers shenners

You should be able to get a decent second hand walnut S410 with scope and charging equipment for that......those things will kill rabbits all day long, consider .177 though.....bit more accuracy at slightly longer ranges and dont let anyone tell you they dont kill as well as a .22 because they do......my .177 HW100 is clinical on rabbits.

F5.6 at a little over 300 mm.........as you can tell there was some nice natural light to play with so f5.6 was enough to get the soft background I needed with a half decent shutter speed. Going to the Isle of man next month for a week to shoot (photographically lol) some of the sea birds and seals. I'll stick a few up when I get back. I'm going out for a couple of hours now to take out a few magpies, have a good weekend y'all. Shenners

Didn't want to give this a taste of the weihrauch! Taken a few months ago and now been published on the website of the place where it was taken, a kind of holiday home for rabbits! Nikon D300 / Nikon -400mm ED VR lens.

I use Logun penetrators in my HW100, claimed many a rabbit with these and would reccomend them. 9.5grain for a bit more of a whack, very accurate too and never find any dud ones. Not the cheapest but worth the extra in my view. H&N ftt very good in the HW100 too may be second best in another gun, it's trial and error for your individual rifle I'm afraid. :wacko:
