    We kept similar in the late 80's onwards for work,their a great dog as a family dog and companion,he's a nice type of a dog

    I've seen the drain created with a glass bottle,scoop out some concrete and rub the bottle back and forth till you get a really smoot finish,looked fantastic,painted it with bitcumastic black paint,lasted for years it did......saw another with a roof gutter the full length of the drain,laid inside the concrete,superb job

    59 next month,have a deep seethed fear of being in water anything above my waist....took 2 classes years ago,12 lessons each time,still no hope of me swimming,I left half way through the 2cd class,was in Spain a few years back,and never put a foot in the pool or sea,doing a few boat trips is as close as I'll ever get to being on the water lol

    I bought three,1 for me and 2 mates took one also,I used mine one night out on a pier,connected to a tracer lamp,on for almost 3 hrs solid,great bit of kit,charged the phone while I was there too,

    I'm not joking but I was mental keen on the lamping and ferreting at the time,I saw the moon dissapear,I was out for as much as I could ,night after night,30/40 plus rabbits each night,and that's cause I got beat before the dog,and back up for work the next day.....he was a stamina packed animal,the one night I remembered most was 42 rabbits a hare and a fox,the pride I had for this dog was huge....then he growled at my kid and it all went south lol

    This dog I had trained to the gun,no bother,pheasants retrieved in fine style,I was with the land owner one day and we were chatting so long I ignored the dog,when I looked for him he was fast asleep in with a load of week old lambs and ewes,all cuddled up together,the time my 1 st child was 3 years old,he growled at him one day, and he was out the back for good,never left in again....that was the only time he let himself down,he ran in to a scratching stone while lamping afterwards and didn't last long after,before I had to put him down,but he was a well mannered dog up to that growling incid

    Here's a dog I bought in 1984,at a game fair in Notts,from a Paul Taylor, saluki/greyhound X Collie/greyhound...fathom being his grand dam....an amazing dog for me,lamped 4 or more nights on the trot when the moon was down,the Collie was the strongest trait in him with the saluki stamina,he took a lot of rabbits every night,couldn't tire him out
