Theres no room for anymore over here Doohan,the place is over crowded allready,lol.Im only kiding.I think the west of Ireland is the place to be for sure and near the coast,then you get fresh fish as well just stay the hell away from Dublin,theyre all ferkin nuts up there,or come to Cork,theres more packs of dogs/diging men than in any other county.Were racing each other to get to the fields first down here.Donegal has plenty of room up there for sure but not sure how abundant the game is there,anyone know?

Spot on Ideation,its all about bragging now.a lot of the peolpe dont understand how to let a dog do his own thing,learn for itself with a little input from its owner.Its all macho bullsh+t now.A lot glorify killing their prey,which it was never about in the first place.Yeah to be a sucessfull hunter you must kill but not go and brag about it in the pub.In the past hunting was a way of feeding yourself,your family and your friends/neighbours.You took what youd need and then return when necessary again.I heard of a well known lamping man from our side boasting of killing 60+ rabbits in one night

It seems to me the FUN is gone from hunting with most people,HUNTING WAS MEANT TO BE FUN,as well as a way of carrying out effiecent pest control.I have Salukis as well as a kelpie,and I dont care if it can kill 8 out of 8 or not,once it tries its best and catches a decent % of its quarry then Im happy.This buisness it seems to me has goten very serious,too much emphasis on how many in one night etc.I enjoy reading about good bags of varied game but given a chance and in the right hands most dogs can become decent enough hunting companions.I know of a few blokes that have a different dog every

Whats the bleedin point Albert read this for the last time,there were a LOT more than 12-15 travellers.Your impossible to talk to and my last word on this is enough security werent present on the day,the travellers targeted people with lurchers and terriers specifically as far as i could see,good luck on your future ventures but I nor my son will be taking part in them again,nor will many of my friends.Im glad your happy with the reports you have recieved and our critisisms are just an effort to undermine you.....NOT.I will be attending shows that wont tolerate such carry on,thats me over and

Albert j I realise you tried your best to cover all eventualitys on the day but it did not come up to scratch in my eyes anyway.As for not reporting it,hand on heart I didnt see anyone walking about that could be percieved to be security,they must have been UNDERCOVER.In fairness,all day long there were drove of travellers causing hell.I was accosted by them and while they did so I could see a friend of mine geting the same treatment from another herd of them.It was going on wholesale,if you didnt spot it you werent around the terrier ring very long or they were so afraid of your presence they

ALBERTJ,if you had that many security around the dog rings they must have been shittin themselves and hid cause I had a load of the travelers around me trying there best to rob the dogs and it was quiet evidet to all around me what was happening.Your security did a piss poor job at making their prescence felt because you can be sure I would have approached them and pointed out those that were constantly hassling people.I had a 15 year old son with me and we left early as we couldnt walk about in peace.We went to the main fair area and the bas.ards followed us the whole way down.Ive thought abo

If you look back on my post previous I said pre ban,and from that answer I take it theyve done feck all a heavy built dog of any other breed wouldnt do,so I wont take part in this conversation again.They surely as a breed have been about a good few years when it was LEGAL to work terriers and even then it seems they werent tested.Enjoy the dog,but for me he aint the real deal bull terrier of old.
