    Well I wont entertain a biting ferret.If someone else wants to spend their time trying to calm them down then go right ahead,me,well i just move on to a litter thats quiet and calm.I never breed ferrets as its hobs I keep.Its much easier for a breeder to do the ground work and then pay for the kit I choose.Plenty of handeling from me after that and good grub,jobs oxo.

    great day,Irish lurcher plied me with his best wine,got me pissed and laughed like furk at me,I was shgged all day,then on the way home I took a wrong turn and added another hour onto my journey the show itself was superb,proper dogs and a great day.Roll on next year.....but seriously Kevin can ye move it a hundred miles or so nearer to Cork Great chating with old and new aquaintainces.

    wire trace allways.We took one home at one time and after guting we found 3 hooks in its stomach,our hooks that we snapped earlier in the evening,the same eel fed from us all night long.We lost more than we caught in tuth though.

    thank you all,hes a good ould mutt for recreational manouvers once yer away from the madening crowds,not because hes aggressive but because the public presume hes a savage and do stupid furkin stuff that provokes fight in their ignorance.I have to tell ye though you wont get a better dog on the beach for entertainment a natural retriever and no hassle sharing his trophy with others.

    Albert,there was a very large problem last year with the travellers accosting people,me and my son being one of those groups.They were going arond in herds together.They may have only taken one dog but they pissed off a lot of people.I dont think I'll attend this year,last year left a bitter taste with me and my young lad was put off big time,not a good experience for a youth starting out,be it my son or anyone elses,but if I do change my mind I'll try and find you and say hello.Best of luck on the day.

    Very nice HGB,I like the look of those two dogs,but really leaving 2 savages near a baby like that is just indefensible......they could sleep on the child or something.

    I have 2 hobs,thankfully I cant and wouldnt breed more ferrets.If I need one then buy in,less hassle and less worry.Shame to see this sort of stuff but I know it goes on everywhere.

    we took a few conger from the pier over the years but like you wrote geting them up is the hard bit.We use 20 lb line,I think we used a 2\0 hook with mackerel strip.It was always after dark we fished and it was a good craic trying to hand lift them in.

    For the last 3 weeks I call in checking 2 litters of ferret kits that were deposited by some numb skull of a hunting person in a local pet shop.Well sadly today I was having a nose(as you do)to see how many were sold and still the lot of them were there,except now they are heading towards latching on to your fingers rather than the calm qualities they had when they first came in.Isnt it a shame to see ferrets turn into biters due to complete neglect.I then noticed their water bowl was full of straw and the kits were drinking the water from the centre of the bowl between the strands of straw.I

    hes a right soft twit inside but has turned to be a decent enough guard luckily,anyone that pulls up outside the house and hes up on the back of the sofa looking out the window to see whos coming,and hes got some voice,frighten the shite out of ye,lol. here he is on the legs.Your right FM,it is lucky ....cause her 2 brothers would flaten his ass if he steped out of line,lol there ye go,goat heads that adorne my palace.

    i suppose the traveling community will be there in force again this year,I hope all goes well for everyone .Had enough crap from that bunch last year and have no intention of rubing shoulders this year again with them.I see the entrance fee is spot on,well done Albert,good move.

    am looking at them for the last few weeks on the beach but thats the 1st time Ive seen one clearly as they speed about yer head impossible to make out,lol.

    I was on the shooting section of www. boards.ie and their of the same mind.The show was a terrible failure.The consensus was the stalls were riping people off,very little to see there.I am glad i didnt make it now

    last minute cancelation had me fuming but by the sounds of things I might have to thank my mate,he was the designated driver.Im defo going up to next weeks show if I can make arrangements early.
