ive know 3 dogs that were bomb proof in my life turn and worry sheep after being hunted through them for years and each time there has been a heavy mist on the hills.something triggers off the kill insinct in mist in some dogs so i allways hold them close in when hunting in fimiliar conditions.you do right in my opinion to pts any dog that starts worrying as you will never settle when out hunting in sheep and the next time the farmer or keeper will be with you..

m edwards who ever he was wrote about a 29lb dog fox and a 28lb vixen took in the same day with terriers..... i gave up buying it then as well as some one shooting phezzes in mid feb.shooting news was a far better rag. -

had one of these nearly thirty years ago the hw50s brilliant for accuracy and great for hunting rabbits and crows etc.

plummer used to hunt in slip ons,suit pants and an anorak but peronaly i like to walk naked with a barrel round my middle.

personaly i think the man was just a fecking bully,bulled himself up in prison with what he was going to do and went and shot unarmed woman and boyfriend ... very big fella...then shot a copper who was someones brother father and son... could have been yours...then reality poured home and he had no alternative but to shoot himself.living like rambo, pull the other one just shitting himself in a bush , trying to do the honarable thing.

my son held a full shotgun license at 10... he,s now 11 but is under full supervision when out.not bad shot either.

good advice above.dont worry about hunting it will be harder to stop him hunting than get him hunting when he,s older. keep on with the obedience and dont take him out with unruly dogs as he will pick up bad habits quick.

that dog is just like the first lurcher i ever owned, a proper exchange and mart dog ,with the old HJKC trade mark advertizment. going by the stag and greyhound . which meant that it had everthing in its viens and had a bit of jacket but useful is as useful does it was a good dog to cut my teeth into the lurcher world.

i,ll gladly swop places with you, if you come over here you will get more taxes and licenses than you could ever think of.petrol is £1.20 a litre and you need a license to watch tv mate. ive been to the states a good few times and feel you get more for your money than you do here and the inhabitants actualy like the english which is more than you can say for any european country.

a fraud is a fraud if he,s got to the top job lieing then chuck him out.we had a prime minister that got to the top by lieing and smileing but left when he had no choice or friends but made himself a multi millionare while representing the working class.still doing the rounds at 250,000 quid a function but never donated nowt to our injured and dead comrades from the war he started but didnt quite finnish. thanks for shareing this with us shotgun sniper
